I sat down to paint and remembered to turn my camera on! We are going to be painting an Ancient Giant Jättir from castnplay for the upcoming Age of Fantasy Giant Tribes video.
I go through the process of throwing paints, to oil washes, and basing. So let me know what you think of my painting method and tell me what your painting this week.

9:43 you missed the back of one of his calves also. Thanks for the demo, I too will paint at 4x speed now. Of course, they are going to ask for a dry brushing vid, too.

If you use a gray apple barrel then white it gives a little more depth otherwise this is almost exactly like I have been doing my armies, also been doing the speed paints over white with a 50/50 sepia/black wash

This was fun to watch. What is the gloss coat you used prior to the oil wash? I've had odd luck with some being sticky or taking a really long time to dry. I was expecting you to wipe off some of the wash with a sponge or q-tips to lighten up some of the highlights.

its the same walmart rattle can clear coat just the gloss type. The gloss lets it run where it need to for the most part. I have found that when I start wiping it off that I get neurotic with it and before I know it i have gone through the gloss coat and opps I wiped all the paint off a shoulder or some such.
