If newborn size is 13 inches, would preemie size be 12 or 11?

Thank you ❣️ I am making my granddaughter a scarf for this winter with this stitch. I just want to say you are amazing and so appreciated! My grandma taught me to crochet 50 years ago but reading a pattern has always been so confusing for me, I'm a visual learner and you my friend have been a game changer for me! So thank you from the bottom of my heart💞

Hi Creative Grandma 😃 This is exactly the sort of thing I am looking for, today! It’s over 100F in Belgium 🇧🇪 this week and our homes are not air conditioned... it didn’t used to be necessary but as the years progress we get a couple weeks per summer where it’s unbearable 😓 (Likewise in the winter but in the opposite extreme) But I digress... Anyway, I belong to a FB page called De Anoniem Sjaal (The Anonymous Shawl) where we anonymously drop homemade projects with a little note explaining that the object was made with love in hopes it would warm someone’s heart to find it. As it’s so hot, I am sitting in front of a fan looking for another project to crochet while in sloth mode. This really ticked the boxes for me so thank you very much! ❤️ To any and all readers of this comment, come join us on the FB page De Anoniem Sjaal. It’s fun and exciting making the drops and very rewarding to see when the recipients post their findings and appreciation. The page started in The Netherlands and grew into Belgium but language doesn’t matter! I hope to “see” you there!

Thank you for being a great teacher and making these tutorials for us. I can't even begin to express how deeply I appreciate the help you have been for me in learning how to crochet. I knew the basics but never knew the reasons why for this or how for that. I always just fumbled my way through and was frustrated on how my projects came out. Because of you, I have confidence to make beautiful projects that turn out well and that I can be proud of. Please keep making these tutorials. May you receive as many blessings as you have been for others!

I have just made one of these super easy and pretty headbands but I only used acrylic as a practice yarn so it is very stretchy. Does the cotton yarn help with this? My daughter has a small head so getting it to fit is a bit tricky. (I only have small shops here in Bon Beach Victoria Australia. So cannot travel to get the cotton. ) Any tips will help. Thanks in advance.

I just paid $4 for this exact pattern on Etsy. Lol. I looked, and looked, and looked, all over RU-vid to try to find this exact pattern from a picture that I had seen. It doesn't matter if I paid $4 for it or not, I'll have it forever now. But, as an embellishment, what it actually did was make a shorter version of this headband, pinched it in the middle and wrapped yarn around it for a bow with the same exact pattern of the headband. I think it's absolutely beautiful, and I will keep this video in my favorites forever. I have a brand new baby granddaughter, so I will be making a lot of headbands over the next few years. Thank you so much for this video, because I really suck at reading patterns. You're a lifesaver. Have a wonderful and safe New Year. 🥂🎊🎉
