Im a christian but i really think hijabs are so beautiful! We are supposed to protect our hair too (not neccesarily hide it) but ive been thinking abt wearing a scarf and this just made me want to do it more😍 bless you
Hijab is not at all to protect hair rather protect women from unwanted male gaze. Natural sunlight and exposure to fresh air does help hair health though if, someone is not living in a polluted city.
I’m not Muslim and have no idea how I ended up finding you. I just find you to be a beautiful person both inside and out. Also, can’t stop watching videos like this it’s just so interesting and fascinating.
Hello Viviana! That’s really beautiful :) Your comment made me really happy. I also like learning about and supporting different cultures. I believe, learning about differences and supporting each other make our world more beautiful :) I actually know of a really great Islamic page that can be helpful. It is called @reverthelp on Tumblr, their Instagram is @revert_help. and Their website is:reverthelp.com/ I have been following them for a long time and I see they are helping people with any kind of questions and provide them with reliable sources. I believe they can be really helpful for you as well. Do send them a message 😊, best˜
That's how I was with Mona Haydar and this woman here and Ninja Mommy and a few others.. I'm not Muslim, literally for 15 years of watching RU-vid videos, didn't even know they existed, til one day I saw them and I'm like ok and checked it out and I find them beautiful inside and out too. And I learned so much from them. Plus I knew a few Muslims as a kid. I just learned so much from them.
She chose the styles that suited her face shape. That's why it seems that, "every hijab style suits her". Try lots of different hijab styles from RU-vid, that are for your face shape. You'd be surprised just how cool you look
I’m not Muslim,, but I wear hijabs and turbans almost everyday and have for quite some time.. Il started to wear them as a way to look nice without putting much effort into my really long hair while chronically ill. They protect my hair and skin from the elements and are stylish while being modest. I often wear mine loosely draped in the front. I get a lot of compliments- it feels good to hear I look nice when I don’t feel well and literally just threw something loose and comfortable on. I wear a lot of loose dresses/skirts/shirts, so adding this scarf/hijab/turban really pulls a style together with no effort, it’s quite wonderful!$
Thank you for making this tutorial, Jasmine! So often I search for simple hijab tutorials to find that they aren’t so simple, but yours is great and easy to follow step-by-step. Simple and stylish. Thanks again! 🙂
finally someone who shows how to use a straight pin under the chin thank you!! i have been so confused seeing a lot of girls use that method haha and safety pins are snag central so i just bought myself a magnet pin
can you make a short but detailed video, how you are fixing your straight pin under your chin?? I really need it, because I use different ones and always harm my scarf :/
When I see a Muslim woman with the hijab . I want to see their hair so bad and then I remember I can Bc I am a gurl . But they can’t show it to me Bc there’s guys all around 😔
All women are suppose to cover there heads, it’s biblical... I just bought my 1st hijab today, can’t wait to start wearing it. Thank you for the tutorial, beautiful styles.
I’m a Christian also beginning to cover; love the hijab style which was originally Christian anyway; isn’t that’s hoot? Love your tutorial and manner; you are gorgeous too. Thanks.
So pretty! I love this tutorial. One of my faves. It’s my go to. And I love the tip to not look like an egg. That makes me laugh every time you say it. 😄
how do you avoid your neck showing? my go-to style is similar to yours. loose, flowy, flip over shoulder. i have to pin the back strategically so it doesn’t move and show my neck at the back. and i will tie the ends into a knot only if i wear a high neck, which is not often since it’s always so hot here. i’ve only worn the hijab a few years and if i find a style i like, i stick to it everyday. i used to hate the flowy styles because i kinda hated wearing hijab back then. plus with my job i didn’t want to keep fiddling with it all day. now i find the chiffon loose flowy style looks more professional on me.
aroundsundown I find an undercap like the one she is wearing the most useful (one that covers the neck), then you do not have to worry about your hijab at all because nothing will show
Thank you so much! I’ve am currently in the process of converting to Islam and when I first found this video I was starting to wear the hijab more, I was slightly worried about doing it wrong and not putting it on right - but this video helped me learn how to put one on and I now wear the hijab with these styles.
I am nervous using the long pins, would rather use the safety pin style ones, do you have any styles where the chest is covered too? the throw over style leaves a lot exposed at the front and I end up spreading it out and it doesn't look right
Sana Saleh Beauty I always wear just a regular tube undercap! The only time I would wear a ninja undercap is if my hijab style is really loose and I don’t want my neck to show :)
Assalamualaikum jasmine...I am new to your channel..I'm 35 yrs old..I want to start wearing hijab but I need some motivation..I'm actually shy and feeling mixed concern to start...will you be able to do a video on this matter please..what type of hijab do I start with..I'm concern about people's will act or react
Love your video. I am a Jersey girl. I tried other hijabs, but Jersey seemed to not make me sweat. I do have a question. When you wrap the hijab, HOW do you bend in your prayers without the hijab end not come loose? I am using pins not to have me come apart (yikes) Eid Mubarak to you!
Hello salamaleikum, I’m a revert thinking about wearing hijab in the near future… do you have any fabric recommendations if I DONT want to wear an undercap?
Gorgeous! ❤️ Do you have any tips in terms of a lot of babyhair? my hair never stays in the same « position » and nothing helps! and my hijab bone also never stays in the same position it always move :/
normally i would put on a fabric headband that would pull back ur baby hair and then proceed to put on the undercap. been doing this since i first put on my hijab and it really helps!
Give us the bun! Need some inspo because a girl be looking alright from the front but hunty the bun be looking like an alien bout to birthed from the back of my head.
Great video! Thanks for showing the different ways you style your hijab. I really wanted to know from where you get a good undercap, I've been looking for a good one and they all keep one moving throughout the day... Thanks 💕
I never do comments but was compelled to tell you I love your channel (everytime I watch you, I just smile) your like the lebanese daughter I never had LOL !!
Israe Abdellaoui THANKS SO MUCH! You are so nice and don’t understand how lovely this is for me. As a 13 year old I’m still getting the hang of this and little bits and pieces like this make my day
Batoul there are girls out there that are new to the hijab or just interested in knowing how I wrap it everyday. If this is nothing new to you, then awesome! But there are girls out there that can find this helpful 😊
I wore it for first time today and it WAS SO SCARY I WAS SO SCARED AND SO SELF CONCIOUS and i had to do it secretly cuz my parents are islamophobic😭😭😭😭😭
The Queen of England and all the princesses and princes .Lady Diana. The now king .Meghan and a hundred more of the Royal family accompanied Me Almighty Allah on My Facebook almost everyday for three years. Hip Hip. We answer Hooray. In Guyana l had a teacher who stammered when pronouncing hippocampus..so he said Hip Hip and we all joyfully shouted Hooray..and that was after independence. Smile l added hundreds of their photos they posted on My Facebook in My gallery for all to see.
For the jersey style how do you stop it from going all over the place when it’s windy? This can be so annoying 😂 I used a magnet but I so can relate with the “egg” look - I thought if only I had the face shape to suit this look 🥴 you can tell I’m a beginner. The amount of hijab videos I have watched & even saved but still not found the one which suits me😭
1 question head cover but not chest ? This is not hijab sorry 😢. In the quran Allah said cover chest n head both , Chang your hijab style specially Arab women
Same repetitive styles with so much talking. She made simple hijab styles sound sooo unnecessarily complicated. Not throwing shade but just being honest.
I truly enjoy it it looks easy but I made a promise to Allah and the moment came and Im scare because i barely own hijab’s but i will go get the jersey and the chiffon and try and try till i get it I’m so exited that you’ve all taken the time to show us New faithful to wear it in an easy no effort. Im only scare of the pins and i will love to see exactly how you put the pins not to hurt my self!! Pls when you can May Allah bless you Always
Hijab style! Isn't it not to attract and not to be attractive rather? Style aims to inspire other and look good and appreciable in others eyes. Nothing wrong in looking good or attractive. But is it not contradictory ? Just this?
Asalamulaykum sisters why are we promoting all these hijabs tutorials in this way, and it is forbidden in islam to show of your beauty this way, and you are influening a lot of young girls... Everybody wants to look this way and they think it is the right way to look and dress..
Where do you get your under caps from?I’m just starting to wear hijab and I don’t know where is a good places to get the full under cap around the face
