Hi Cheryl! You could just trim off the uneven part before sewing the short ends.

Maryann, the snowman fabric is a few years old so it's probably not being made any longer. I can see on the leftovers I have it's designed by Susan Winget. You could cut extra strips of the two fabrics to make the length you want. Sew them together end-to-end before continuing with the steps in the instructions.

Hi. Most fabrics cut and purchased off the bolt will be 44" - 45" wide. Width of fabric is referring to the width of the fabric on the bolt. Hope this helps!
