They are a fab little fish, a bit like a mini stingray in a way, is the other type you have these? aquadiction.world/species-spotlight/chinese-hillstream-loach/ I believe there are something like 200 hill stream species spread across multiple genera such as Nemacheilus, Schistura, and Barbatula, among others, would love to get them all categorised on our site one day. I have the schtistura and a barbatula they are spotty ones and striped ones like in your short

Did you find them panda garra in the end bud? Sounds like you have a trap door to the fish dimension in your aquarium ;) Lets hope we can have aquariums in the afterlife, or the afterlife will really suck :)

@Aquadiction I found 1 garra but now i haven't seen either in the 55g in a week. The one in the 15g is doing great

@FishRfun must be some gap they got out of which is insane they go that way in the first place! When I was a teen and worked in a local fish shop outside they had 10 large tubs next to each other (left to right) to … the goldfish would jump tub to tub across all 10 and never outside the tubs (to their death) it’s like they knew where the water was and wasn’t, very crazy stuff but true story, 3 sides of each tube had no water but they knew which side had water and where to jump… figure that one out because I’ve never figured it out lol

@Aquadiction yeah I'm at a loss. The 55g is as secure as it can be with having 2 hob filters. The fluval flex is 100% sealed. Even where the cords come through are in the back chamber so there's zero room for escape because I taped a piece of cardboard over the feeding port
