Quick Dive - COBALT8 Firmware V2 

Upgrading the synth to this large extent via firmware update is rare in this industry. It is wholeheartedly appreciated! Big, big thanks from me. Not only Modal added super-cool new features, but they've also fixed all the known issues about this synth. Very commendable. That is the kind of a company I love to support financially.

Thank you so much for making an already perfect synth better. The new features sound amazing (the free running oscillator setting is brilliant). I can’t count the times this last year I’ve lusted after other far more expensive synths, eventually always realising that “my Cobalt can do that”. Well my Cobalt can really do all of that now 😊

thank you! this is more than i even hoped for.... DISTORTION and more filters?? heck yes.

I have to say, this firmware update really pushed the synth into everything I wanted the synth to be. It was good, but now it's great. If there's anything I could say it's the GUI, I wish we could have a drop down style menu to view all the filters, FX, and Algos. It's a little burdensome to slide the mouse without knowing when to stop (and we've got more options now!) to reach the desired selection. Great update folks! Keep it up, this is the kind of company I believe many want to support and see succeed.

It would be nice if the display showed the envelopes with correct representation of curves and time. Also for the envelopes to have an option not to retrigger with next note, and to have to option to loop them

I can't actually find the V2 factory sound bank. I did find a cobalt 5s sound bank though. Maybe its just not been posted yet

i wanna see on next update user\costume arpeggios, that mean you can program the arp's, for strum, accompaniable sequences like in arranger keyboards, this can be uniqe feature. i use my korg PA700 to do that manipulation ,and i sacrifice 1 midi channel for this sequence integration. please give your arpeggios this user arp features like in professional arranger keyboards !

You can't download the new factory sound bank V2 for the cobalt the link on your website is broken!

This update may get a crowbar into my wallet. I will state a cost uptick of even $300 on the 5 octave would have been worth it for a Poly AT keybed IMHO.
