Quick Drive Impressions in my 1,000 Mile E92 M3! 

Haven't driven it far enough to have damaged the tires in any way. Take a couple spirited drives and maybe a nice short burnout or 3 and then reevaluate. I've put 1000 miles on a set with a terrible alignment and had them back to health within the next 100. Rotations help if applicable. I had a square stance. But it seems like an alignment issue unless there was a manufacturer defect in the tire and a belt broke. Typically you feel that too as an unbalanced vibration.

I had auto solutions make the ssk 12mm higher so it would be factory height with the f10 m5 shift knob. Love it

13:26 A big reason why the E92 M3 is my favorite car of all time. 😂 It just sounds too damnn good. And of course the looks too. I just love the sound of a European V8. This car and a B7 Audi RS4, the sound just gets me all the time. Seeing yours with a manual is just the cherry on top. I always wondered how many people would've bought more of the older C63 AMG w204's if they came with a 6 spd manual. 🤔 E92 M3 would be #1 for me either way. Wow it sounds amazing! Swap the front tires side to side and drive again. If it still pulls left its the car not the tires. It may not pull after or may drift to the right.

As a former m3 owner, I still think this is the best M3 motor despite not being the fastest variant. When the M3/4 went even bigger and heavier is when I decided to bail on the brand and jump to the 911. Still look back on my M as one of my favorite cars, but the 911 drives completely different and I’d have a real hard time going back to a front engine (or front mid) vehicle. Even more noticeable on track. Very very few mods needed. Carbon Back Sportster GTs might be coming tho.

On your steering point situation Matt I would swap front tires and see if anything changes I can’t remember if you have a square set up? Could be something just stupid, Control arm sway bar something like that I know I had that issue on my Subaru.

When I saw the title & started the video I just expected you to be reversing out of your wash bay in the old house and go through the little slalom that was your drive! Interesting how some things are codified into your memory. As for the car, what a noise!!

My buddy is a one man auto mechanic operation. A few years ago, he decided to get an alignment machine and tire changing set up. He tells me if you don’t have a proper alignment, you can ruin a set of new tires in a day or two. Therefore, it could be the tires are bad.

Has to be the best OEM+ E92 M3 in the country....I would love to see you take it up to the mountains!

The BMW dealer is the only place that gets my alignment proper every time. Take it there and it will be perfect bc they weigh the car for the driver as per design. They will sort you out. I thought my E92 M3 was the best and still so but your car is phenomenal. Would love to feel those Ohlins, headers and carbon airbox. That box was the first mod I wanted in many years which says a lot when a car is tuned perfectly and driven as is for 6 years before the big bites again. E92 M3 is one of the best M cars ever made. I’m sure yours is. Close to GTS and I’m guessing a stroker is in your dreams. Replace it with a P65 instead as I l ow one may still be available. With that engine there will be no doubt who has the best E92 on the planet.

Thinking about the same suspension setup for my 1 series

I used to depend on my V1 Radar Detector, but that was 10 years ago. Way back, before that, when cops were using primarily X Band, the damn thing might give you 3-4 miles warning in certain circumstances. It was laughable. Of course, their equipment got better and that instant on ambush type changed the game. Getting older, I had the V1 still, but found it better to fall in with a group of cars and be in the middle or rear of the pack. I was content to let the guy in front be the bear bait. For those of you that travel the PA Turnpike, it’s West Bound at the bottom of the hill near Breezewood at the 162 mile marker. Lol, cops are there a lot. You’ve been warned!!!

I feel your pain with the alignment being off. I still find myself checking my steering wheel after every other bump or rough patch.

Matt check to see if your brakes are hanging up a little that could be why it’s steering to the left so noticeably that could be the problem nice to see you enjoying the m3

Swap the front tires left to right and see if the pull changes, if it doesn’t, it’s not a radial pull it’s just a bad alignment

Good to see someone get their dream cars Matt! You might have to find an wheel alignment guy with your level of OCD though...cuz that pull to the left look 10 times hard than road crown correction even. Good help is hard to find, and always taken for granted.

Hey Matt! Have you looked into checking the corner balance? That itself could cause the car to pull and when you get it done, you will be getting every drop of performance out of the suspension! *You may have already done this, But I haven't watched every single video on this car. looking forward to catching up*

Well I’m assuming carbon ceramics are somewhat porous I could be wrong on carbon ceramic material but I think it’s like anything else if you rub some frictional material again something else you’ll get a transfer! And it’s probably not much different from carbon steel when you’re applying frictional material for a transfer layer I could totally be wrong, but my theory is just like what you said Matt you’re leaving pad material transferred from the pad to the rotor surface might be a microscopic pad layer transfer but there’s a layer transfer happening that must mirror the same material against itself??

Your tires are not ruined with the low miles you have driven. Go find another alignment shop. By the way, I have been using the OG drying aid and I love it. I love the fact that there is no silly crap in it like smell or color agents that crystalize in the bottle like in bead maker or extreme solutions.

Do a Carbon Fiber driveshaft. Dramatic difference with no negative side effects. You won't regret it.

Intake and exhaust don't make NA cars "much much much faster"...but ok. The do make cars sound much much much faster. Fantastic sounding car sir.

Aligning it can be tricky. If he hadn’t placed weights throughout the car, it’ll always be off.

You mentioned it feels faster than stock how much hp would you guess your mods make in total? (Headers, tune, intake, and pulleys) Also, have you considered a carbon driveshaft and or a light weight fly wheel?

So TTX is the way to go eh. Need a new suspension setup in my M3. It's a supercharged 4.4, so I need some rather aggressive suspension to work with that power.

Man, E92 6-speed, single hump, 359M wheels, OEM plus concept mods. It's beautiful! I love American Racing Headers exhaust - remember them from my Mustang days. I still don't understand why the previous owner had extra clearcoat sprayed onto the vertical surface of the rear trunk. That's a headscratcher. It wouldn't have stopped me either though. You could always take the rear wing off and have the whole thing cleared to get rid of the edge. I have been poking around for a Lime Rock single hump 6-speed with silver 359M wheels. Doubt I would like the price if I found one nice enough. Most I see are deal-breaking double humps - can't even look at them. Or they have the cold weather package headlight knobs. Less is more, people! :)

It is a badass m3 but It’s prolly the best e92 in country because it barely sees the road. Drive the thing. It’s not a Ferrari or a gt2 Porsche it’s a bmw m3. You see them on the road all the time. They are not rare. If it’s your favorite car and dream car enjoy it and drive it.
