My cousin Shelby worked in the lunch room at the school in her neighborhood, she used to give me the best recipes, she worked there 42 years, she was the lunch lady also, I’m so Greatful for you and her…..

Awesome! Thank you for this recipe! My family LOVES yeasty rolls, but our favorite recipe takes 2 rises and a whole lot of kneading. I never make them for large family gatherings. It's just too much work. I can't WAIT to surprise my loved ones at our next gathering! (I treat everyone in our family to yeasty rolls individually. When I make them I take turns who I share them with). Just wish my Mother was here. She passed on in July. She passed down her Great Grandma's roll recipe to me. She is a Great Great Grandma and since she passed on there's two more on the way. She would have been SO happy if I brought a big ole batch of these wonderful rolls to a family gathering. Just the thought of it makes me smile. Yeast rolls were/are a family tradition. I've been teaching my niece, so she can carry on the tradition. I'll teach her this recipe too! I'm sure she'll like this recipe better. She doesn't like all that rising and kneading. lol Thanks for reading this. It's a difficult time losing your Momma. This recipe reminds me of her. Not a day goes by without missing her.

I have made this recipe for many many years probably started making it in early 70s but never put honey butter or everything bagel on them I will be doing this next time I make them thank you

I made this roll recipe and it turned out prefect. I'm disabled and I don't cook very much but I cooked these and they are the best roll recipe I've ate.
Just in case anyone is wondering these are fantastic! I came back to this video yesterday evening looking for a quick roll to make with our supper. I baked half of them in a mini muffin tin as soon as I whisked the batter together, and my son declared them his favorite muffin roll. I put the other half of the dough in the fridge like her recipe says to do and baked them today and they were even better than last nights rolls. Just try them! They are similar to an old recipe I have for what people call angel biscuits.

God bless you! This is my mother-in -law's recipe, which I've been hunting for since she died in 1995! Gonna get a fresh bag of self rising flour and whip up a batch. Sons say they don''t remember these, but they will when they taste them! Pity my husband is gone, as he'd eat every darn one that he could get his hands on! Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories! She used to use bacon drippings in them, but I'm sure just plain butter will work find.
