Good video but a lot of work for a burn barrel. Not to criticize but it will burn/rot/rust out in a few years. Plus, I found it best to punch out a hole in the bottom of the barrel and put some kind of wire mesh over it (I usually used an old piece of 1" x 2" welded wire). This not only helped with ventilation but pull the wire out and you could pull out some of the ashes too. Also, I would put mine on top of cement blocks and have a screen cover as well. And of course, go by local, county and state laws too. But to be honest I quit using one years ago. Compost and mulch piles do wonders!
Better check with local regulations. Screen on top is a must. Keep the level of burning material below the top edge. Keep a water hose near. Don't do this while drunk.
Terrible video. Does not tell you the distance between the holes, the hole size or how many vertical runs of holes you should have. Also, this is NOT a DIY video. The common person does not own a welder, video is only for people who have access to all these materials and knowledge on how to use them.
