Delicious • Easy • Quick Vegan Lentil Bolognese Recipe!
INGREDIENTS
- 5 servings
500g dried spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
5 iced spinach cubes
2 x 200g canned lentils
1 cup cooked peas
720ml store-bought tomato sauce
1 x 140g tin of tomato puree
1 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water. Set aside.
2. In the same pot, heat the olive oil. Add the garlic cook for a minute.
3. Add spinach cubes, mix well with the garlic.
4. Add lentils, peas, tomato sauce, tomato puree and water. Leave to boil.
5. Add garlic powder and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Place the cooked spaghetti on a plate, add the lentil bolognese sauce.
7. Enjoy.
