Hi. I need to replace the seat belt buckle for this seat. I kindly ask you if maybe do you know how to open/remove it to replace? As can be seen, it all seems closed inside the seat with no apparent screw/bolt or other. Thanks
Hi Lissandro, I would first try to put some penetrating oil (like WD40) into the buckles. Otherwise, the seat belts buckles are held together with the hook under the seat. A shaft goes trough the buckels and the hook. Remove the nut (17 mm I guess) and push the shaft. Pay attention, because when the shaft is away, every thing will fall appart.
Hello! I think my kid may have thrown some small object inside the mechanism, and as such, among my replacement plan is the idea to open and check the jammed mechanism. The belt pin now simply does not enter anymore (being nearly impossible to remove once it got stuck at first); so thanks again for the info on the access to the mechanism :)
