Thanks for this video. The Glitch effect is pretty common in videos and films these days. Now we can make videos with all of the tools at hand, like Hollywood!
To anyone that might be reading this, do NOT use the Old Film: Grain filter. It looks amazing in the video editor, but I speak from experience when I say it can seriously fuck with the resolution of the exported file.
Cool, I just started learning Olive. It's pretty simple but a little glitchy still haha. Uploaded my first edited video just last night. Will look into shortcut too.
@@FlabbyShrimp I believe I tried that one before but it was a bit picky on the video codecs it supported or something. I don't remember for sure it was some time ago and I uninstalled it. Will look at that one again too.
Hi there. I've been having trouble with Shotcut. When I place the video in my timeline, you can hear my voice, but can't see a picture because it's really delayed. I have the latest version. Have you had any problem recently with the software? I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing. Please help. Thanks.
Is there the possibility to save the transition as a single presets to reuse it the next time without having to recreate it? Thank you you are very good!!!
It would be better for shotcut to add something to play around with scale so I can create the transition the video editors are making now. And also if its possible to add custom transitions for shotcut?
Hi, could you recommend open shot, shotcut or kdenlive over another for a beginner video editor? I've used kdenlive before but did'nt try any other one except one try on DaVinci but that preview window was soooooooo choppy i could'nt even begin to edit.. Used a 22Gb video that time, but on kdenlive it was possible to edit using a low-res version and then render final version in hi-res. Would be glad for sorts of input. Using W10. 8Gb ram and 1.9Ghz Qaud-Core processor so not so powerful.
That means you have an outdated version. Go to the official shotcut website at shotcut(dot)org and download the latest version from there. They release a new version almost every month,
You mean adding text? at the bottom? You need it to appear as the words are spoken (more work) or per line (bit less work)? Basically you'll have to use many transparent clips with text/title filter - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NvAqdP6teg4.html - does this solve it for you? if not, check ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VL-gwcLoKCw.html - if still not, let me know
Only in the latest versions, might require gpu(directx) setting in case yours is set to software because of prev version. Consider reinstalling shotcut in worst case
Thanks for all the info videos, but im in need of help, if you go to my channel you will see that the videos i download doesn't fit the screeen , can you help me please , i watch most of all your videos and cant find a fix .. i have a lg ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor , but when i export i do 2560x1080 16.9 30frames, and when i go and watch it on my phone or somewhere else, i have black lines in the left, right ,top and bottom. I try everything but nothing. Sorry for the rant thanks anyways if you cant help.
@@tuxdesigner3856 I have the latest version of shortcut but it's 32 bit.. and there no presets for rotate and scale. Is there any chance that I could get them from somewhere.
@@tuxdesigner3856 I tried, - a long list of pictures opens, of course you can put them one after another and reduce the time of each - but this is not convenient, I thought there is another way, as in other editors
oh, you mean an image sequence, no worries, this totally works as long they are numbered right! :D Here you go: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZMD09kGh-uQ.html
