Quick look at the First Alert 2087DF-BD safe 

A common question on how to change the passcode. The safe door must be opened to do this. If you skip to the 2:59 mark on this video, there is a red sticker on left upper side of door saying "reset". Push that red reset button and type in your desired passcode (3-8 digits) followed by the # key. Repeat this again (passcode + '#') quickly for confirmation. Every passcode must end with the "#". If done correctly, you will see a green light shine solid for 5 secs. If you forgot your passcode and cannot open the door, you need to use the override keys shown in this video. If you don't have those either, you are SOL. Hope this helps!

Can you do a video on how to reset the password and the safes locks after resetting the password because I’m resetting the password it has green light but it wouldn’t lock

This is a fire safe only,,, it will keep small children out and it’d probably keep visiting friends and or relative honest or a maid,,, it offers A decent amount of fire protection and can survive a fall of 20 or 30 feet during a house fire however these things offer almost no security at all,,,you need at least an RSC fire and burglary rated safe that way you can have fire protection and light burglary protection all in one

One thing you should be aware of is that these safes are fairly airtight. If you do not open the door for a while and you have cash in it, it can get soggy from condensation.

Dude - you totally missed how to set up a unique passcode…it’s bit of a hit and miss… seems like you tried, but could not figure it out so moved on ?
