I squeeze these into my day and make do with what I have, but am considering investing more in things like lighting, a Lavalier-mic and a boom mic with 'dead cat' wind noise protector for outside. Fitting the rail IS reversible so don't worry. You have to drive out a pin in the rear sight and dismantle it, then fit the rail and drive the pin back in to hold it. There is also a screw to hold the rail down. The scope will be too high for the standard stock, so that's why I changed the stock and have a cheekrest. Thanks for viewing and commenting! Hi! Yes, here in Switzerland that's a popular use - what people often do is shorten the foreend of the standard stock and remove the upper part. But there's a great Czech company now making hunting stocks for the K31. Thanks! I know the frustration of not being able to buy accessories and components. Often US stores say "only for sale in continental US" or there are unneccessary ITAR rules preventing scopes or other components being exported. I mean, sheesh!
