Here is a very simply way to make a fully adjustable band-saw circle cutting jig, and when you have your circle it will only have a small indent in it not a hole, for those of you who have seen my last one this will give you a very useful upgrade making it work much better and more accurate

Great jig. I should try doing woodworking in my slippers and pyjama. Why not get comfortable. One more thing I want to congratulate you for staying slim at your age. Cheers!

David nice vid. Always looks cold when you walk into your shop when my son who is a electrician did my workshop we installed conduit pipe work from cable trunking he also installed wall mounted electric heater With attached timer so I have heating all the time and it turns off when the temp falls below 24c so it nice in the summer Just a idea maybe for you workshop Many thanks Harry

I have been trying to figure out how to build a bandsaw jig that will allowme to cut rounded tops on 1 x 4 boards which of course are 3/4" x 3 1/2". I build cornhole boards and I use 1 x 4 legs. I have not been able to figure out how to build this jig. For now, I am using a pattern that I made from MDF and using double sided tape I am routing the ciruclar end on the tops of these legs. But it is ver slow and I need to figure out some way to do this on my band saw. I have a 1/4" blade on the saw which should be small enough for this radius but I simply cannot figure out how to design the jig. Just wondering if you might have any suggestions on this. Thank you very much.

Hi Mark they are heat powered fans designed to circulate the heat that rises from the fire

Nice Jig David. How happy are you with your band saw?
@dmgladden

Hi, I've had it for around 3 years now and I find it can handle anything I give it to do, i must admit it's biggest job is in winter with a 30mm blade cutting up firewood to keep me warm in the shop

At 8:56 you show that pin in the sliding board - what is it called? I listen 5 times right before when you open the package and still can't understand. I'd love to try this.

Hi sorry if there was a sound issue but the pin I call a dowel pin it's a centre pointer used for Doweling

@billinfarmington5189
@billinfarmington5189 4 года назад
@@dmgladden LOL! The title of the video has "Simple" spelled "Simle". Just a typo but, I couldn't resist. I can't explain why but spelling has always been one of those things for me. Did you see the article today about some idiot burning down a church in Mississippi? The jerk left a note complaining that the parishioners were "hypokrits." And, I am from New Orleans. In my neighborhood, I was the only one sent to a private school rather than the local public school. Most of my friends from the neighborhood are convicted felons or doing work that doesn't require "book learn'n." Regards and, it was a good video. Bill
