Quick Shifter / Cruise Control Fix BMW S1000RR - TECH TIP 

No joke I just found your video after riding all day without quickshift hating life thanks dude awesome video

Thanks to you I understood the problem. I fixed it with a different method. Made a small plastic washer/shim out of a piece of plastic packaging. It was just enough to take the play out so when the clutch is disengaged the switch is pressed that extra millimeter. Works like new again- cruise and quickshift. You're the man.

Just bought and XR and cruise control was not working . Tried this, but I spun the metal plate 90 degrees and fixed in place so that the bottom metal strip is now pressed down. it now works, thanks! Only downside is that the clutch does not deactivate it , need the brake-

that flimsy metal flap that is supposed to keep the second button pressed when the clutch is not engage fell off. i had to zip tie and secure it with duct tape. Thanks for posting the video.

gonna try this on my 2015..QS and cruise control just stopped working...hope this help... I don't mind the cruise control not working if the handle unit is busted...i just want the QS to be working again

With this mod, will your cruise control still be disabled when you pull the clutch in? Or do you loose that ability with this mod?

My S1000RR 2016 havn’t that switch someone took it off before I buy motorcycle two months ago. Launch control work excellent but seems to me cruise control don’t work. is that switch conneced to operate on/off cruise control? Please answer!
