Fantastic! This tip is life changing. I was having big troubles trying to learn from the masters by following the full images. My results were so poor , I was ending with caricaturesque copies, so horrible that I was thiinking about stop painting, I see now that value studies are the key to learn from the old masters, as I want, thank you very much
Frank, our goal for the Quick Tips is to zoom in on how to solve painting problems one at a time. You can watch Notan: How and Why as well as the two plein air videos to see a start to finish. Just go to our channel page at ru-vid.com to see our complete list.
Thank you very much for your explanations. Unfortunately, on your teaching videos the camera focuses too much on your face without giving us the opportunity to understand what you are talking about, and when the camera focuses on the canvas, then it is so small and far away that is very difficult! But thank you for your efforts, of course! Great explanations!
In the Studio Art Instruction Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I do not think you got what I was saying. But this doesn't matter! It was for your benefit and not for mine I took the trouble of writing to you. Respectfully yours Elenis
I refer to them often and have used them for basis of many of my full length video tutorials. Series 34 is called "Balance Like the Masters" and Series 35 is called "Compose Like Sargent". You can find these at diannemize.com
