Here's another quick tip for your electrical system on your boat everyone, and it's one of the easiest things you SHOULD be doing every year, especially at the start of the season! Grab a wire brush and clean your battery terminals and make sure you have good connections to avoid power related problems with your boat.
You can find a cheap brush kit here: amzn.to/2J956an
If you like these kind of boat tips, please drop a like and let me know! Thanks so much everyone and tight lines everyone, I hope you are all staying healthy and safe during the virus craziness. Take care!

Would baking soda be an effective cleaner to use with the brush or do you think it's not worth the extra mess?

12v isn’t enough to even penetrate the skin. There won’t be any “tasing” at that voltage. Not even close to the required voltage to generate a shock.

I'm sorry but you're completely mistaken, amperage causes electrical shocks not voltage. If you get hit with a 12-volt 400 amp shock, you're gunna get burned bad.

@@DanRichardFishing Maybe if you stick 12v directly to your heart. Touching 12v battery terminals will definitely NOT hurt you at all touching them with your hands. Have you never touched both terminals at the same time??? Do you really think just touching battery terminals with your hands will shock you???

I have a small center console with a dirty battery hatch. Can I get the battery wet when I clean it?

Honestly I would just remove the battery to avoid any issues, plus you'll do a better cleaning job without it in the way :) Good luck!
