Hi Joe, I took lessons by a book and records. I don't remember who the lessons were by, but one of the most important things the instructor said was "relax". That didn't make sense to me at the time , a teenager. I was more interesting in smashing the drums as hard as I could to the dismay of the other band members LOL.
Thank you Joe. Actually, I think this is quite powerfull. I have just tried it, and the technique gives me a point of reference, so it is much easier to control the stick. Thats really great.
That's really interesting. I can't have any pressure on my fulcrum due to an injury. I find grip tape loosens my grip a lot. The Danny Carey signature sticks which are weighted in the front give you more natural rebound.
