Hello, can you guide me more about the kind of Rolls that we can run on it ? Does it only support Inkjet Media ? If yes, do you sell it ? I am struggling to get Media for this printer. i think it does not accept Chromo or Themal Paper.
Justin, make sure you size the artwork to the same dimensions as the label you are printing. Most people print from a pdf and print from that. If you need to talk to a label expert, contact us at info@weberpackaging.com.
This printer only handles labels up to 4" wide. To print 8" wide, you need the new Epson C6500A label printer. www.go-label.com/C6000_C6500_Inkjet_Label_Printers_s/170.htm
The black cartridge is a high-capacity cartridge. Depending on the coverage of ink on your label, it would last a long time. A typical shipping label? At least a few thousand if not more.
You can create anything you want on your label, depending on what software you use to make the label. Usually customers create the label they need in their favorite software package (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) And save it as a pdf. The Epson can then print the pdf without any problems.
Sure, but the EPSON 7500 is not a cutter, if the image my client wants is to circulate, I have to buy a roll that has already cut circles and with the software adjust it?
You can create round labels but you have to buy a roll of die-cut blank labels in the shape you need. Adjust your image to fit that shape and size using the software driver in the printer. We have done many different round labels using this printer successfully.
The Epson C7500 has a built-in cutter. You can cut individual labels one at a time. If you are printing round labels on die-cut circles, you need to be sure your label printer adds black timing marks on the back of the labels as the Epson sensor needs these marks when printing round labels. The smaller Epson C3500 also has a cutter and can do the same on a smaller scale.
