What's with the control panel/electronics right next to the sink? They're going to get splashed or dirty when you're doing dishes. There's got to be a better place for it.
I bought a new 992 in 2019. While I find it to be a nice camper, it has a number of glaring design flaws and even came with a non-functional fridge that took SIX MONTHS to get working (meanwhile, I'm making payments and not able to use the camper). Northwood refused to help; in fact, an email that I saw on the topic was, and I quote, "Not our problem; talk to Norcold." I find it awesome (sarcasm) that you would ship a camper with a non-functioning fridge. Doesn't help that the dealer also didn't test it. Like I said nice camper, but I will NEVER own another Northwood product after this experience.
The square tubing looks like it's barely 1/8" and the piece of wood inside it is a lot smaller than the tube, which i understand is fine unless your screwing from opposite sides. I see the weld is only on 2 sides top and bottom wouldn't it severely increase the strength of the thin aluminum tube if all four side were welded? I'm sure your welders are good but only two side welding increases the possibility of cracked welds severely. I do like your product can I order one with fully welded frame?
I'd go for a smaller under-counter fridge, maybe also forgoing the oven for a slide-out freezer, to get more counter space. Counter space is the most obvious thing missing from this design, and I'm sure that's typical of most truck campers.
12v fridges are cheap to make and now force u to have a good battery bank plus a generator for cloudy days. Nop, having a 3 way fridge is choice which is superior.
In our 2021 1140 we can access and use everything with the slide in. The galley is tight but it works, we use the camper this way at rest stops, parking lots or when using the bathroom on long trips.
