I bought a Fully Self-Contained 1993 Lance Squire Cab-Over Camper in 2003. The old folks who owned it only used it 3 times and sold to me for $2,400. I've used the HELL out of it, including about 12 trips deep into Mexico. The only thing I had to do was add a solar panel to charge the house battery, Air Conditioner, and a small generator to operate the A/C. I've still got it and still use the hell out of it.
What everyone wants to know from the get go, not after laboring through a personal contact, & all the strings that come with them, is the price "range". Stripped, to fully loaded.
What I want to know is why you cannot simply google Arctic Fox 990 and locate a dealer as they have the prices clearly posted on their sites? No contacts, no strings and different options for each.
All of these Northwood truck camper videos have the same intro which is too long. I wish you would talk about how each model is different. Wet weight, dry weight, truck payload capacity requirements, long bed, short bed, etc.
Appreciate your feedback! We have the dry weights listed on our brochures and if you have questions about tow vehicles feel free to give our Truck Camper Specialists, Doug Karr, a call at 425-583-7861
Still, nobody makes a truck camper for a standard cab truck! I don’t want the front overhang going almost to the end of my hood. Can’t see overhead traffic lights, branches hanging over the road. Don’t want a slide out(added weight) and campers are too tall(higher center of gravity) I go off road a bit and my present camper is a 1974 9.5 sunline. I also pull a 19’ boat(Grownups Boat) Whole camper is set up for 12 volt. Boat frig, evaporator instead of AC. Don’t want a generator, more weight. Also run the beach. I like how this is constructed and has nice features, but still not suitable for my truck. (1975 Chevy K20)
hey i have always wanted to know...can you tow a trailer with these on the back?? if so, if there is an adapter, how much tongue wait will it accomidate? I am starting to like this for what ill be using it for....thanks for your video
