This has been talked about for well over a decade of the possibility (or impossibility!) of getting some sort of model ported for WereGarurumon, but I never thought it'd actually happen. Vice, you continue to make Digimon World feel like a truly complete experience. Thank you so much for that. It's not a very popular game, but it's one of my favourites, and I've always wanted to raise a Machinedramon and keep exploring in a game that always feels like there's more to see.
I don't know how I would handle that: 1. It can be seen as making money from a game I do not have the rights to. 2. I would feel kinda pressured to keep modding...
@@DigimonworldVice-yi9fdAs long as you make the donations be to you as a person and developer and separate it legally from the game, there should be no legal trouble. Nothing stops anyone from giving you money for any reason just because you run this project.
Darn. Even his moveset is exactly how I imagined it to be. I mean... he would be REALLY boring with just being Battle specialist with plenty of ice moves (and then he would be straight up WORSE than Garurumon) - adding Air (and Thunder Justice) was great idea to spice it up. Mightily impressive. You know what's up.

Digimon World was always an obsession of mine since a young age. I would dream of possibilities, places and Digimons to discover and play with- you're realizing that dream I had by literally changing the code. Seeing how you play with the limitations of what's possible is fun every step of the way. Lastly, the way you patched up the game made it more fun and engaging. What you have made inspires me. Funny, just the other day after seeing your hack I was wondering why there was no hack to add in weregarurumon. This is great btw, i'm so glad at all the advancements that have been made to be able to modify DW1 in these ways.
So the "Pocket Digimon World Weregarurumon" fits better than the DW2 version? you really got me there, I always assumed that the DW2 models would fit right in. Also, Pocket Digimon World ? what's that? it's like a japanese only game? None of them fit in the game, as I said in the description, I basically had to rework the entire model for it to work, Otherwise it would have been a completely white model with body parts in random places... I only decided to use the Pocket Digimon World one because I felt that one looks better. Yes, it is a Japanese only game.
Dude, I'm really curious about how you're creating his animations, how about creating a video showing how you're doing it? It doesn't need to be detailed, just some basic things, showing some things on video. In addition to the finished project, I also find this part of the creation very interesting, it would be a type of video that I would really like to watch, I know there are texts that explain a little of this, but a video showing it would be really cool.
It would be really boring... I'm literally just using a hex editor to change/create byte by byte the animations. The same way I had to do the model... So I have no idea about how the animation is going to look until I actually try it in game (if it does not crash...). I basically have to imagine in my head how the rotations/positions will work and write them in hex hoping that it will be as I imagine, on top of that, those are 3D calculations, which are complex... Of course a lot of the animations are reused or modified from existing ones that are compatible (I still have to manually adjust the entire animation for the model, but at least the calculations are done), some others are new... There is not really any program that helps me or anything else, at most I just have a notepad open to take notes... I do not recommend this method to anyone, the reason no one is trying or has tried this, is because is too taxing, long and boring for just an extra model for a niche game... Making a program for this would also take a long time...
Amazing Vice, do you think it's possible to WaruMonzaemon/WaruSeadramon/Meteormon? Or at least fix their mistakes? I used cheats and used all 3, I have a video on my channel too. Meteormon has a little more trouble. WaruMonzaemon and WaruSeadramon are very playable and Meteormon have a cool victory pose lol
I'll just reply to this one... If you want to play with WaruSeadramon, you can change the texture of the Original MegaSeadramon and rename it. There is a guide for this in my Github. That should make it fully playable (In exchange for the original MegaSeadramon, of course). For the other two: The others would be more complicated, but just ovewriting some animations to make them not freeze when they have to eat, go to the toilet... it is possible. There is also a guide for the animations and a discussion on the Github to ask for help. There is also the discord modding community... Of course, this would be to play with them using cheat codes...

It is one specific battle or does it happen with any battle? Also, which digimon are you playing with? And to make extra sure, the patch was applied to the NTSC-U version, right? I made a test on epxse with the exact same patches, but the battles work...
