This team archetype is my favourite to use for Cyno, and it got better with Nahida. In fact, I'll even dub it as one of my top 2 teams to use. This video goes in-depth into how Quickbloom works and what makes Cyno the best character for it.

DISCLAIMER: I'm a player who values ER highly to ensure the smoothest rotation, even if it sacrifices some damage. This is to ensure I can always do rotations with minimal batterying, even when enemies drop 0 energy particles/orbs. Please keep this in mind when I value 4pc TF higher than 4pc GD even if Gilded gives more personal damage to Cyno. Also, my Yelan runs 230% ish ER as a solo Hydro at C0 with Favonius Bow. Keep this in mind as well when using her for Quickbloom teams.

Can you use xingqiu I think xingqiu damage reduction can stack with beidou and provides good off field damage

Same here! I usually find the recommended ER being far too little when doing anything but a perfect rotation, and even then you'll usually not have enough :/

Probably because it’s just weak enough to be considered not top meta. Like it’s right there in the above average slot and I guess that gets no coverage.

@@wilburforce8046 You're pretty much spot on, reason he's meta in china is because they value investment scaling over high damage floors, cyno with c2/wep is by far the highest damage ceiling quick/hyperbloom electro char because he's not gated by EM and scales w. wep, early cons, etc but is relatively equal to others if he's not on bis/a couple cons Ironically it just doesn't get looked at in the west for some reason despite people using C1 Tao w Homa or C2 Raiden as bases

@@drakodragon8389 Because noone cares what can the character do with constellations and refinements on signature. What does the 1000 whales that swipe big enough to pull for these do and how their characters perform doesn't define meta. It's insignificant for the rest of the 60 million playerbase. Character is either good on C0 with 4* weapon or character isn't good.

@@AdamTuxTengler did you even read what i wrote, I guess low spenders/f2p lack the entire ability to pull over c0 for a char they like? when others have their c2/wep's considered when talking about meta it's not a stretch to say that people just have bias over certain units. The only ppl who consider c0 w. 4* weps any stretch of 'meta' are poverty crafters like zajef

Nice Video! I've been working on my own cyno team ever since i got nahida and I was building/running nearly the same exact team as this one for quickbloom except for traveler -> nahida though I only found this video today and could've used it earlier, It feels great when my own team building is validated like this :D

Very nice guide! Would swapping Yelan with Barbara in a team of Cyno/[Barbara]/Nahida/Zhongli work? I don't have Yelan yet and I already use XQ for my first team (Raiden National). Also thoughts on Fischl instead of Beidou?

It'll work but in a team like that, there isnt a lot of team damage when you have both Barbara and Zhongli. Fischl can still be fine, but she can steal Hyperblooms from Cyno so keep that in mind. You can use her if you want a shorter rotation and/or need more energy. I would suggest Beidou in AoE, Fischl for Single Target in this case. Play around with the team variations, and see which suits you best 👍

I run Cyno DMC XQ +1 most of the time. Will get new BP spear that gives EM and will try running Kuki with Sumeru sword.

ikr? at first when i haven't heard about quickbloom, i can't believe how can be a character with a dedicated em kit can lose to both of his best reaction team such as aggravate with keqing and hyperbloom with raiden/kuki. after seeing a lot of people comparison on the first month of his released i am finally accept that he is not a good character on the meta. but now, after i build him (because i am bored) and find about quickbloom, i'd realize that he might be broken somehow. quickbloom is the key to unlock his full potential. i am using the variant with yelan elegy nahida and zhongli. by still using dmg build with crit and have based 350 em, he got in total 650+ em when using his ult in full team rotation. it's crazy how he can doing a ton of aggravate while still consistently triggerring 27k+ of hyperbloom. till now, here is what i find out about this team : 1. there are 5 dmg sources in this team. it's cyno electro dmg, hyperbloom, nahida tri-karma, yelan burst, and electro-charged. 2. yelan gives elegy buff and her hydro application is fast enough to consistently producing seed while being not that strong so cyno can still doing aggravate. 3. sometimes nahida can spread along with cyno aggravate. 4. zhongli. unlike the other reaction based team, put in him give so much value for this team, because he give shield, interruption resistance, buffs with tenacity, and he shred all the dmg this team dealt. 5. for energy, with 4pc tf and favonius zhongli, my cyno just have 122% er and have no problem with it. there might be wrong information because i am still new with it. but, having cyno just with white tassel can defeat abyss pma in 1 rotation on it's weak phase is quite reasonable for me to say he's actually so strong.

His quickbloom teams aren’t by any means bad but your initial assasement is still true. Raiden hitting 40k hyperblooms on something like an alhaithem team is still just stronger then Cyno. Cyno is not a meta character but not at all weak.

@@nationalgeografic7687 no? Her E NEVER did a lot with hypercarry Raiden or ER bot Raiden. Her burst is aight at C0 but it takes up feild time and generally doesn’t add up to as much dps as hyperbloom. Ei was never used for personal damage when she’s in a more supportive elemental skill based role. What are you even on about? Her hyperbloom basically allows her to out dps most actual on field dps through reactions.

He needs to be on feild to even match Ei’s high EM reactions hitting 45k which doesn’t even mention the personal damage your allowed to have on a Raiden quickswap team. Ei doesn’t need to be on feild to do all this don’t you get it? Her e lasts forever. Your free to play Alhaithem and Nahida and do much more damage then Cyno while also being more flexible with rotations. A great example of this would be floor 1 where Cyno struggles pretty hard since you need to swap units and re-apply your shit to different enemies coming at you. Another example would be the bird and scorpion combo deleting units who stay on field too long. You can clear with Cyno sure but he’s just not stronger then the alternatives who can clear with much less effort. Zajef did the numbers Cyno’s dmg just isn’t that impressive I’m sorry.

as an ex cyno i main who got him on his first run and got his sig weapon on his second rerun, I cannot stress hard enough that cyno is build for quick bloom, literally everyone out there was like cyno aggravate n quicken ooga boonga, it took me too long to figure out what team is the best for him

Xinqu hydro application rate is very hight (might not work) kuki will work but beido is recommended for her shield

If we talking just hyperbloom my personal team that I currently use is raiden for electro nahida dendro and the most surprisingly effective hydro drive barbara with zhongli’s shield and her auto heal on hit not only are they a great hyper bloom team they are also near immortal 😂

Similar to the Cyno-Xingqiu-Nahida-DMC team i talked about. You can consider replacing DMC with Yaoyao. Double Dendro should be fine. The logic of it is similar to Al-haitham's Quickbloom team which also uses Double Dendro.

Idk if it even matters if it's too fast or not. I've been using Xingqiu and it's absolutely demolishing bosses with Cyno. Don't worry about it.

I actually don't get why you recommend electro Dmg bonus cup, when it doesn't effect hyperbloom damage? wouldn't it be better to just run full EM, since crit doesn't effect hyperbloom dmg either? ++ his 4th ascension passive has him scaling off EM, and his signature wepaon does to?

If this was a pure Hyperbloom team, I wouldnt recommend Cyno at all. Please revisit the video to understand how Quickbloom works and why Cyno isnt built for purely Hyperbloom in this.

@@Seri3992 yeah i guess i don't get the difference tbh, so you're just using far less hyperbloom procs? but also, EM is as relevant in quicken anyway, no? or can you build both ways (as in personal dmg based or just pure EM)? Sorry didn't mean to appear confrontational, you're not the one who rec's electro dmg/ crit for Cyno even for hyperbloom.

I don’t mean to be that guy, but 4pc TF is Cyno’s BIS for aggravate, 4pc Guilded Dreams works out to more damage than the alternatives because both hyperbloom and aggravate scale mostly on EM whereas Cyno’s great skill damage is better raw or aggravated since it doesn’t proc hyperblooms better than NAs

All valid points. My statement about TF over GD was in the context of personal/team energy requirements, as well as cheating the proc chance of 4pc TF via Hyperblooms. 4pc GD does dish out more damage for Quickbloom, but will he have enough energy for the entire team to rotate off cooldown on the assumption of doing only 3 Endseer Es? 4pc Gilded needs more ER substats to compensate, even more so if running no Electro Resonance.

Until u realize that quicken doesn't get the bonus damage like aggravate and spread does. Meaning u would lose a reaction damage bonus each shift of bloom and quicken.

It is. In fact I've been thinking about doing a Cyno/Yelan/Nahida/Beidou comp to test a quickbloom team. Since I don't have Zhongli, my best option to mitigate damage was to use the "Beidou/Xingqiu" duo. By removing Xq, I lose defense on the team, in favor of increasing offense. What I've been seeing is that by using Xq/Yelan on the team as hydro applicators, I do a lot more damage overall, but it's no longer a quickbloom team, but more of an aggravate-hyperbloom one. It's something I have yet to try.

It's possible, but Barbara isn't going to support you with much damage. That's why it's better to have Xingqiu or Yelan. I don't have Zhongli, but I choose the Xingqiu/Beidou duo to mitigate the damage and I can beat the entire 12th floor easily.

@@mmg4014 Absolutely. Cyno is a very fun character to play imho. If you already have Yelan and Zhongli, I would recommend them to use with Cyno, who along with Nahida, would be your best all-around team. With Zhongli, you no longer have to worry about dodging as much, but rather dealing damage with Cyno. On the other hand, if you use Xingqiu+Beidou, although they are viable when mitigating damage, you would have to learn to dodge blows that can break Beidou's shield and know the attack patterns of the enemies to try not to receive too much damage. Before Nahida came out, I used the Dendro MC and I was also doing super well with Cyno. But I had to note that if the dendro application runs out, take Cyno out of the field and rotate again your team to apply dendro on enemies. Consider pulling for Baizhu if he's ideal for Cyno teams, because he can help you defensively in his compos.

As per usual DPS standards, my personal recommendation for his Crit Rate would sit around 60%-65% for starting investment. For hard investment, it would be around 75%+. CDMG will be dependent on his weapon
