@@vixenrana5507 its hard to swirl Hydro with Mona cus her normal attacks arent enough for that, and her skill is to much for that. Also, C4 Yelan + her talent boosts her dmg more

Tbf, using Mona here is probably better and more accessible than using Yelan. She has her own nuke and Nilou does more damage too. Before we trash on Nilou for some unknown reason (as many do with Kokomi), she did most of the damage there.

She needs 6s more of damage, yes. That's different than completing it in another 6s, because this boss goes invisible and needs to be revealed with a catalyze reaction (or by destroying one of the options it spawns). In practice, the Nilou team probably would have needed ~15-20s more because of the boss mechanic.

Yelan is just too damn strong man. She shouldnt be allowed in dps showdowns especially if shes c6, she just gobbles everything up with her insane dmg 😂, nothing is left for the main character thats being showcased. Unless ofcourse if shes the one being showcased. Or maybe a c0 Yelan can be allowed there, but even then her skill and ult still does very big dmg.

Or Kazuha. Its never about the new character. Its always those fully decked out meta characters.

@@jevonrodgers4599 I have raiden and yelan c6 and raiden can do huge dmg but yelan is way faster in general and can still kill enemies without having to use her burst making her more flexible. Both greatly contribute to other team members. My favourite two characters

@@Aliens1337 what? Itto is able to kill abyss heralds very easily with no danger to himself. Not as fast as the correct elements but consistently enough to clear any abyss chamber with them. And never having to worry about taking damage

@@tehCostHD Yep. Fully agree. Got frustrated from being one shot with level 60 Collei and Nilou being one-shot in Abyss 12, so I just pulled out Itto and breezed though.

She is good in quicken teams with fischl traveler healer/zhongli(better than anemo healer)/collei/nahida (but surviving is hard af)

She and tighnari are my favorite trouble duo for quicken teams, they are so fun to use together, but iwtl would probably use collei :c, but in my opinion yae is the aggravate queen, while cyno is a beast in quickbloom

@@Grim_Bud you can span the skill if you use her normals, so it doesn't take that long. Plus a 50% damage boost, especially with C6 is definitely more beneficial

@@Grim_Bud Not really. You just have to spam E-E-n1 which is like 2 seconds and it will be enough to let Nilou one rotation the prism. But instead he used Yelan to do that and added 6s with a dumb excuse to the run.

No one tops her like I have her on a not so good build but she still out does my hu Tao vape dmg by FAR like she was one of the best releases and is still relevant since 2.1 or whenever she released she was a blessing onto my account cuz I got her early and won 50/50 after that I had to fight tooth and nail to get characters I wanted ;-;

Except, in the boss showcases, she's utilizing vaporize, and simply replacing her with Mona or even Childe will yield better times. And in the abyss, her clear times are average at best. Don't forget that the current abyss modifier heavily favors teams with dendro reactions, so Cyno and Nilou damage numbers are already being inflated.

@@richlee6331 She is a hydro character & can therefore utilize any reaction to go with her element. It so happens that in "single target" situations, vaporize functions better because of the huge frontloaded reactions. That being said, by your logic, Cyno is just another electro character & replacing him with probably Keqing would yield better times. The point here isn't that she isn't the best at vape, he's just maximizing their dmg for speed runs. I think their solo & abyss runs are the only thing we should actually consider cos everything else is usually using a support to help them output huge screenshot damage.

Anyone who says she’s bad or weak is an idiot. She’s strong with shit units that do zero personal damage. Her buff to bloom in AOE is very high. People just hate that the most fun part of her kit, bountiful cores, is locked behind a team restriction. These showcases are also very poor at showing how strong the units are. It’s a speed running whale showcase.

She turned out better than I thought in her niche but too restrictive to me for now, while her other options ask for a lot of investment to works. I might pull for her rerrun if we get more fitting units for her in the meantime.

I don't really get the majority of Genshin player base. I mean, you can do whatever you want as long as you're happy but for me, as a casual player, instead of focusing on grinding, I'd rather focus on learning the movement of the enemies, as it take way less time than farming trash artefact. I mean it's all good if you can finish the abyss 12 in under a minute easily, but just barely 36 star abyss with whatever character and artefact set feels more satisfying. Also, I was once in the grinding camp but the RNGod is just not on my side and the commitment of grinding to get perfect artefact is something that is beyond me so now I just occasionally jump on Genshin and play whatever content available

@@tonykowalski4189 i see. You should try maining beidou for that purpose of learning enemy attacks with satisfying parries. ive been in that phase as im a beidou main since the release of genshin. Learning most of enemy attacks was my hobby due to playing parry beidou. Gives me lot of satisfaction But due to life responsibilities i need to play less than 1hour so speedrunning everything with my favorite characters is efficient now for me. So its up to every player how they want to spend their time in the game

@@shellista9773 That's the neat part, I'm already a Beidou main for a good part of like a year now. At times I also like to shuffle the characters that I use and put whatever artefact and weapon that I already has so things won't get boring but for the most part, I fight new enemies with her. Also, for me,learning enemy move set takes far less time than farming artefact, and in my opinion, you can also enjoy the game casually and doesn't need to speedrun things

Welp. You know, in a game like this, stuff like Raiden who can cheat power moves on herself and moreover so her teammates is always gonna be great. Put dps on said unit, it became broken. Eventually when bigger number comes Raiden will always be an option because she 'cheats'. Honkai has even crazier SP filling characters or you call batteries in your game. Arknights has Myrtle who is sunflower (PvZ) on steroids. 100% usage in CCs. And she doesn't even bring damage.

@@HSRFirefly Yes and no. Yelan can solo these rooms at his level of investment which is basically maxed out. It's just not fair to other characters to put Yelan in one team because all you need to do is slot her in the other character's team and their times would decrease, regardless of team synergy. Even Itto's time would decrease because his Yelan is just that insane. Xingqiu would have been a better choice because his damage isn't nearly as insane as C6R5 Yelan even if you put R5 Mistsplitter on him.

it's honrstly unfair to use yelan or kazuha in these runs since they would deal atleast1/3 of the damage in cyno and itto's run you could argue that kazuha did the heavy lifting (especially cyno's run)

If Cyno had Yelan on his runs you don’t think his time would be better? He deff should have evened the playing field or taken her out

He didn’t include Yelan in the run as it’s a cut run. Why are you all complaining? It’s fun to see how he maximize team dps speedrun by coming up with strats like vape Nilou to clear a chamber and have Yelan clear the other, he’s still including the non Yelan run so I don’t see what the problem is

I agree with u, i think kazuha grouping is enough and bennett can be replaced by albedo. At this level, healing is not really necessary and gorou also can heal a bit too

vaporize does that, ayato C6 does that too, and faster... but nilou can't vaporize and also bloom team, and if you really wanted to play ayato do it WITH nilou in a bloom team =) not like we really need to focus on optimization for abyss... national one side, bloom or freeze the other unga bunga 36 star stars for the past 2 years straight.

This is C6 Nilou mind you, and Ayato not only has a Nuke at C6 as well, but also has faster NA’s that do more damage

yeah, Ayato is not really a nuker. he's the type to have consistent damage all throughout without having to set up every single support for a single nuke

@@tubisi I know it might be a while but SURELY not any farther away than fontaine, because the hydro archon will definitely be an HP scaler, and it might be even sooner since we have so many pure HP scalers now, (yelan, Nilou, Candace, kuki, layla) whereas before we only had hybrid HP scalers (Hu tao, zhongli)

Maybe Hydro archon will scale on HP and provides team-wide buff based on HP similar to how Nahida does with EM

@@dizzlegrizzle1919 Exactly, she's made for Bloom and destroys groups of enemies. She being competitive as a Hydro DPS is a nice surprise, she still did 70% of the boss in 2 seconds

At least nilou actually did most of the damage and made her feel like the dps which made yelan lean more on sub dps unlike *cough* diluc

I'm definitely gonna pull for him. He is only getting atk buff from gorou and Bennet, whereas cyno and nilou are using reactions and not to mention yelan. Itto and xiao is one of the best hypercarry.

Take here for example, nilou is a character who's kit screams to use her in a bloom team. He didn't even touch her potential. 3- every character have their own part where they shine most. Eg, nilou is a character who shines most in an AOE scenario and cyno with mostly single targets but he decided to compare both the character against a single type of enemy. My point is this whole video just worthless since he is comparing 2 character who have their value change drastically in accordance with increasing enemy. If you want to know what I'm talking about check out his other videos. Especially that one video about diluc, where he didn't even use him and stated some dumb bs that "This is his best slot, by meaning just not using him"

Yeah, Zhongli would be better. The Itto team really wasn't optimal.. AT ALL. Only 2 geo characters? No snapshot? Bennett...? Itto, Gorou, Zhongli, Flex/Albedo is a much better team comp than Bennett + Kazuha.

@@mik0zlove358 I think Sapwood is better of the 2 bc you don't use her on-field hydro application much. It's better for the bloom team to stack her HP as high as possible (max 75k HP but if you have her signature weapon, you can go higher for her EM buff.), which means you might not get as much EM as build full EM on another hydro character. Any stats other than HP aren't that important if you play her off-field, so Sapwood is better bc it can give EM buff to the one who proc bloom. In current F2P bloom team of Nilou, DMC, Collei and Barbara. Barbara is mostly the one who proc bloom, so you stack EM on her.

@@LaSureka well, he could have used Kokomi instead of Barbara, but he didn't, that's something. The rarity doesn't really matter when most of the boosting teammates are 4 star characters. For artifact, I would agree, she doesn't have her own set yet. But knowing how intense her scaling can be at 74K HP (max), they will not focus on that. She will be providing more damage to her E stance and team utility.

His Itto can 2 shot the first half waves even with only 2 geo so it is faster with a grouper than chasing the enemies wasting a couple of seconds, this is a speed run.

@@s4iforshort For multiple mobs yes, for Single target, obviously 3 geo is better. The flaw of Arataki (and even Cyno) is that they are a bit too Single target, making them weaker against multiple opponents (as per your counter point).

@@s4iforshort Yes I know why he used Kazuha, I’m saying Gorou isn’t that helpful here. I’m assuming it would probably be faster either to swap out Bennett for a 3rd geo member or swap out Gorou for Zhongli or Albedo. I fully realise that Kazuha was necessary to make this as fast as possible. Again though, I haven’t done the maths and could be completely wrong, and it’s not like it would have made much difference anyway. Raiden was always going to be the winner by a wide margin.

I dont think so because if you give her normal crit build she pretty much the same as other hydro dps in vape team but since bloom cant crit its not recomended. C6 is for her max potential to go full hp build

It's not locked behind constellations, because her dps isn't horrible with a hydro crit build. It's just not as good as her bloom build because she's made for it. It's like how Ganyu can work with reverse melt fairly well, but really her best teams are freeze.

Number 1: Putting c6r5 in title, hardly anyone would click. Number 2: You didn't pay attention that's not his fault. Number 3: IWTL hardly ever do F2P or low spend content, is always whale, c6 r5 stuff.

The result is pretty obvious for C6 characters. Backloaded damage, eula wins. Frontloaded damage, raiden/yelan is somewhat tied. Sunstained damage, yelan wins. But not all of us has c6...so it's cheaper to stick with raiden if you only consider characters kit.

And she will get way better in the Future. I am pulling for her

We will see once Abyss return back to the state a month ago where mobs are scattered unlike the current one where they are literally grouped together by the game without u having to do much

She is a good character because she allows a new play mechanics, but this video ignored that for the most part and played her as a vape nuke which is totally dumb. Also who told you Cyno is a good dps? He's bad. Itto isn't that strong either.

@@amberxv4777 bro the game isn't that hard. Cyno ang Itto can clear the abyss just fine which makes them good. And using Nilou in a vape team isn't dumb. There are a lot of ways to play a character specially with Nilou only having 3 whole characters useable for that "new mechanic" you are talking about. The first part of the video were boss fights which bountiful cores are pretty useless (you'd know that if you have at least a brain cell) and Nilou would look like a piece of shit using weak ass blooms on single target bosses which is a waste of time. You have to adjust your playstyle depending on your opponents. But if your brain is so linear that you NEED to play Nilou with ONLY bloom, then you do you I guess.
