That’s makes sense, I have my back account linked to quick books but I have another back account so when I buy stuff or use my credit card it don’t recognize the car

When your receipts are not being read or matched but the transaction already occurred how do you attach the receipt?

Hector, thank you for the explanation. I was glad to see that the receipt itself is actually captured, when done as a receipt. WHAT DO YOU DO, when the charge, as a business receipt is issued by the establishment and then you add a tip and get a credit card transaction receipt that shows the tip??

Strangely, I have a problem with this feature. So imagine, the transaction from the bank account was automatically pulled, my bookkeeper has categorized it. And now when a snap receipt it doesn't find that transaction to match despite it read the entire receipt correctly. And I also can find that transaction in my books manually or by searching it but the snap a receipt feature doesn't find a match. Quickbooks is the best system I agree but it's not functioning as promised for sure. This feature would be helpful to us since we have hundreds of receipts on a daily basis, but it simply doesn't work. To be more precise it finds the match only 1/10th of the receipts.

Thank you. Is there a way to change the currency on the receipts scanned? We pay some vendors with lempira (Honduras currency) and then we have receipts in USD. How do I get the app to recognize the difference? Or, how do I edit the currency once on my online quickbook account?

Hi Hector, I just started using the receipts section today. One problem that I keep encountering is that after I upload a receipt and enter the receipt details, it then takes me to the page to match it with an existing expense. I've noticed that when I match it with an existing expense, none of the receipt details transfer over, which is frustrating since I'm updating the receipt details with the correct Payee, Category, and Customer information, but it only saves the original Expense info. Any advice as to what to do in these situations? I already talked to a QBO rep and she said I either have to delete the existing expense and then create a New Expense with the receipt, or match the two and then go into the categorized Expense and edit the information-both of which are inefficient and create an extra step. Please help!

Question - I notice that when I match the receipt to an existing expense, it doesn't show up as an attachment. But if I add a receipt and create the expense from the receipt... then it does show as an attachment. Are both methods fine since the receipt is still "matched" to the expense in the first scenario, but doesn't show up as an attachment?

Hector is there a way to see the break down of taxes? ie) GST and PST?

When you assign expenses can you split them? Not assign the whole receipt to say office expense?

Hello Hector! I've been using this feature without issue but recently, the "expense" option disappeared from the drop down menu and I can only select "bill" or "receipt." What am I doing wrong? If I select receipt, the company shows up in my customer list as if they owe me money. I can't figure out how to categorize receipts correctly again. Please help! Thank you!

When I use the receipt capture feature, it says I have missing info and ask me about payment account??? What the heck is a payment account and how do I get pass that section?

LOL! Are you really minimizing the video into the top left corner and then saying "I don't know if you can see it" as you show the receipt to the camera. Well no we can't see it because the video has been minimized so small and shoved into the top left corner. You edited this video and that seems acceptable to you? SMH.
