Would you guys be into a re-launch of our podcast?! Some OG subs may know we released 133 episodes between 2014 and 2019 but priorities changed and our focus has solely been on video recently.. BUT we're looking to get back into it! If the response is good, we have a location/set that we could use to begin a separate video podcast channel as well. Let me know what you think! See ya soon.
Ok, did I miss something? What’s up with the Jetta emblem on the back. Yes I know the RS3 is on the Jetta platform, but they are a far cry from the 2.5L FWD Jetta.
Thanks for the amazing day of filming guys! I'm so happy I managed to provide you the quickest car you've ever tested! Let's meet up again next year in hopes that I can easily claim the fastest you've tested as well!
an RS3 is like a dream daily for me....they seem basically perfect. obviously the new RS6 avant would be better because of the EXTRA POWA!!! and space....but this would be AWESOME
They're not even close to their limits. I've built the bottom end of the motor upgrading the pistons, rods, rod bearings and head studs. Can easily handle a bunch more horsepower & torque.
i see a lot of modified rs3-s but noone buys a tt-rs to modify that... i mean yes, they were extremely overpriced brand new, but at the moment they go for the same price (used) as the rs3-s (at least in the uk)
Less practical initially. Most people just look for a nice daily and then go down the wormhole when modifying them. Also the TTRS looks like a chopped top VW beetle. I personally like it but more of an acquired taste.
@@Bikini_ST i mean if u buy it for a fun daily/weekend/or for modifications the ttrs smokes the rs3, if id buy an rs3 and realise that i want more id just bite the bullet and go back for a stock ttrs and go from there... But when u get there to get it gutted and build the engine... That extra weight and boxiness will bite back...
@@UKfromadrone i think its just a preference. I like the way the TTRS looks but i still rather have an RS3. Also i wouldnt get rid of a car i already know to get someones else's car. Just asking for problems. Also a lot of wasted money in time and taxes. Im sure insurance is way more too. Sports car vs compact sedan
Love coming in to check out the comments to see if I can help answer anyone's questions and instead seeing personal insults about my appearance which has nothing to do with the car, LMFAO. Bravo to you
@@Furzze yes of course but i leave in the usa and they don't make that here. Back home in italy and rest of europe there are...as usual audi usa ruining everything 🥴
You better get on it now. The rumor is that the 8Y will be the last gas powered RS3. Plus it takes a long time to get one. I have a 2023 and it took 9 months, but people are being told 18 months now
Its crazy to think with all that work and how amazing the MQB RS3 platform is..... that the Tesla Plaid will do sub 2s 0-60 and a 8sec 1/4...in full street trim.
I’m never overly impressed when a car is gutted. Street cars that have full interior is way more stunning. A monster on the streets but you can still pack in all the passengers or go to the store with it.
@@on_another_level5661 I haven't been done trespassing either. Doesn't change the fact they are two different things. One is way more subjective than the other. Even harder to prove.
Jetta 😂 Never seen someone buy a $80k Audi & down badge it so ppl think he owns a $20k Jetta from there rear 😅 From the front….Well it’s obvious! She’s SCREAMS DAZA 😆
@@RolandKoller90 Sadly the majority of the world refers to crank horsepower. You really only hear crank horsepower in North America so that is why I was referencing it.
And with a bigger tire, I'd go slower. There is a reason for everything I do. Seeing as I only drag race the car now, I only need to come to a stop after a full 1/4 mile run on an NHRA certified drag strip with plenty of room to come to a stop.
Sadly the general public don't understand the difference between power at the wheels vs power at the crank seeing as all they see are horsepower ratings at the crank by every single car manufacturer in the world.
I've managed multiple 1.39 60ft's on track. I need a bit more power up top to manage an 8. I'm hoping 2021 will be the year for 8's. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0k8JkrCU3C8.html
Really not that impressive considering APR has a full interior car running 9.4 on the quarter mile. And Iroz Motorsports has a street driven RS3 with air conditioning running 8.0 on the quarter mile. Their car is a lot less gutted than this one and doesn't even have a cage. They actually just drove that car from a race in California back to Nevada.
Please link me this so called APR car doing 9.3 in the 1/4 mile. I imagine they are making WAY more power than I am and a full frame turbo to achieve that time if it actually exists. LOL about Iroz's car that runs 8.0's. Hank races with no interior and a rollcage. His car weighs substantially less than mine does with carbon fiber doors and a carbon fiber sunroof replacement. Better get back to researching Hank's ride....
@@VancityAudi just go on RU-vid and search APR RS3 runs 9s that video was from 2 years ago the car is currently running 9.4 they just sold it. But as you can see he went 9.8 at 144mph 2 years ago maybe you should do your research😉🤣
@@NOLIMIT302 Seeing as you won't be able to find that info because it never happened I did some digging. Before he sold the car he managed a 9.4 with 300lbs of weight reduction and 17" slicks. So everything you claimed to know was incorrect lol. I will 100% admit I am wrong though if you can prove me otherwise...
@@NOLIMIT302 I certainly didn't say that, lol. My car is slow as shit compared to some of the full frame RS3's out there. I just don't like when people claim to know facts that are false.
