This tutorial/guide will show you how to test and preview your game on real android device in no time! That can be useful if your game depends on some sensors (like GPS, gyroscope, etc.) and finder inputs like shown in this video. If you don't have the "Install via USB" setting and you cannot pick your phone in Unity, enable "USB Tethering" on your phone, worked for me.

If it's still not working for you, make sure the cable is a data cable and not just a charging cable. Changing mine to a data cable made it work for me (the default cable that comes with the phone should be a data cable).

I making mobile infinite runner and i wanted to test my swipe input. At first i was very skeptical that this video will help me, especially when i saw i need to download something from the play store, but i found the app. The 3,9 star rating was not promising at all and when i play tested nothing worked, so i had to enter the developer mode in my phone. At that point i was pretty much knew it won't work but i was wrong. Enabling USB debug mode really helped mirroring the image from Unity Editor to my phone, altho it's really laggy even with JPEG + downscale. (I have a old phone tho, Honor 8) The point is i could test my swipe features in seconds instead of building a apk each time i made changes in the code. Thank you so much for this tutorial! ♥

O'Brother I have a problem with the program, every build build says Gradle build has failed, knowing that Gradle is one of the program's build files like SDK and jdk, but I installed a good version and it does not have any problems, mm

I hae an issue trying to export an apk. I keep getting a debug folder instead of the apk when i build it. I also have buildmethod error in the bottom left of the unity screen. I think my settings configurations are wrong. *i also use vpn...dont know if that will effect*

in editor when choosing resolution you can just choose "remote" and it will use the connected phone's resolution

does the setting on our editor will be the same if we create an apk for it?. wht i mean is my game need to be downsized at resolution so it could run without lagging. but it makes my game resolution so bad. if i make an apk is the resolution gonna need to be downsized too? so it wont lagging?

I have a question...when I build my game for Android ... there is an error.....my android sdk is not working....and I downloaded android studio and install the tools....but it didn't work ...there is a problem in the android command line tools ..and now the error message says....failed to update android sdk package list...see the console for details.... do you know how to fix it?

No Adaptive Performance provider package installed. Adaptive Performance requires a provider to get information during runtime. Please install a provider such as Adaptive Performance Samsung (Android) from the Adaptive Performance Settings.

I came across a bug. When you use USB Debugging , you should NOT be able to see your phone on your PC. If you do, that means you are not using USB Debugging. My phone doesn't ask me to Enable USB Debugging when I'm using the FRONT usb ports, only the behind ones.
