Very nicely done video. You've put in a lot of good information in each system and give your straight opinion on vendors and brands. One can't ask for more.
Hello Andy... hey what a great video.. the sport has needed a video like this. Wondering if ya might be able to redo the audio.. I’ve sent this to several people in my area with interest, the response and appreciation has been great .. fantastic reinforcement regarding the safety aspects and training. I’ve even had a couple of pilots stop by the hanger who were previously not to enthused about ultralights, they watched this on the hanger TV and came to a better attitude and appreciation for the quicksilver line of Aircraft. Thank you to you and your film crew.
Thank you! Sorry about the audio. I actually fixed it, but I'll have to add it as a new video because there are so many links to this one. I can't edit it on RU-vid unfortunately. I will repost it though.
I’ve been watching several videos on LSA and ultralights, and this one has really sparked my interest in flying again. This looks really fun and seems to be quite affordable. Thanks for a very good, informative video. Btw, there were two audio tracks playing simultaneously at a couple places in the video, made it hard to hear. But still good.
I need more information on where you can fly, how high, how low, where to buy, what to buy, learn to fly, where to store it, can I rent one, where can I land, FAA rules.... I'm all in and ready to go!!!
A shame about the audio issues; otherwise an excellent clip. Informative and thorough. Presenter's style is spot-on... relaxed but not gabby, minimal anecdotes, stays on topic. I was absorbed for all 30 minutes
The idea that four strokes are automatically more reliable is inaccurate. The four stroke engine conversions I have seen in ultralights have actually been less reliable. Two stroke failures are nearly always human error. Installation errors, improper tuning, improper maintenance, fuel system design and maintenance, etc…. Operated and maintained correctly two strokes are extremely reliable. They have very few moving parts. I have flown well over 1000 hours on two strokes.
