I’m considering making a move to DR but I’ve never considered anywhere in Santo Domingo other than the downtown area or near the Malecon. This place is very nice however, and the price is RIGHT! Is this normal? In the areas I’ve looked previously, prices are at least 2-3 times that.
The Malecón is another step up on prices . But yes it’s very nice . It’s busy around the Malecón but soooo nice . You are by everything that’s whey it’s higher all the Best . Thanks so much for your comment
Coach but why steps though you know, as you get a certain age, you can’t be running up and down those steps anymore specially me, I got those bad knees I couldn’t do it 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Hey my friend. Nice video. Being a single man I'd be interested in a studio or one bedroom house or apt. Do they have them available in similar areas? Quiet, safe, comfortable and if so how much do you think one bedroom would be monthly? Thanks for sharing.
@@youngbuck219 Juan Bosch is out there! You will need a car (taxis and Ubers will eat up your budget). If your spanish isn't on point you will have a rough time.. you will be deep in Dominican and Haitian culture wich takes time to adjust.
Those buildings look like the ones in the US because they were built by the government, that's the governmental design. They were built not to long ago.
Are there any available in area completely furnished with washer? If so what is deposit needed to move in to get keys and how far away is markets thanks
In the US, people salary is 4 to 5 times higher than the salary of people in Dominican Republic. What type of comparison is that? You American people, you are the cause of high price of house in any country you flood , because you go there and start comparing prices to US peice and yiu start thinking that everything is cheap, bit you forget that the majority of people in those countries don't have your pocket. Sometimes you say it online that the rent is cheap, so they raise their price just for you, then you complain that they give you gringo price 😏🤔
Do you think I’d be able to get away with running a small hair salon in this place ? I only like to work out of my home because of my handicap. Do you think security would notice here ?
@@TheDominicanRoute I am grateful you are very transparent with us. A lot of time people promote cheap living and have us thinking we are going to be living like USA and sometimes that isn’t the truth . I appreciate your channel and learn a lot from you. Do you see electric chargers out there because I have a Telsa that would need to come with me
He's talking about Santo Domingo East. There is St Louis and there is East St Louis. People have to tell you the difference. It's probably a great place but it's santo Domingo East or este
+1 (809) 258-1871 Mr Armando is The realtor for the Dominican Route channel texting him on WhatsApp . Tell him that Dominican Route sent you. Call him on WhatsApp . Or text him. That complex is called habitat UNO
You know what I’m not sure but it’s others very close . It’s has to me less . It’s apartment s for rent all around there . I would guess around $ 250 US dollars
I live here . Thanks 9 people live here from the channel . I have been here over a year now . Of course you do research in the Rich areas also . You would be stupid not to do your own research . Thanks for your comment
Juan Bosch is a second tier middle class local Dominican area. It is not close to the beach, not a tourist area and not a high income local neighborhood. This is an average looking apartment with no special views, no balcony small average kitchen. This place is worth$140,000 max.
I’m so glad these people are right people they’re so clean and so nice and not thugs that’s the most beautiful thing about it . The rightpeople sold me. Nice , clean and law, abiding citizens, and God is good . We need more neighborhoods like that.
This apartment is perfect coach you can bring your family from Louisiana. You can bring the girls over they can spend the night you should get on this one definitely a reasonable price🙏🏽
Good video. Thanks so much for telling the truth about dominican republic. Someone told me today that $2k usa is not enough to live on in the dominican republic 😂. And their dominican but were raised in the US.
Lol I would not say that 😅. Not trying to be negative pero, this is not how the Majority of the apartments look in Dominican Republic. The newer ones ofcourse pero unfortunately I would have to say the price is really all that's better not the way they're built. Not to mention very rarely do any Dominican apartments have Carbon Monxoide alarms.
