I walked the Camino Portuguese Coastal in September 2023, 213 total miles to Santiago de Compostela according to my Apple Ultra watch and I phone. I was inspired by Efren and will be doing the Camino Frances in May 2024. I will be 76 at the time and have no problem doing the daily 15 miles or so. Keep walking Efren. It's a big world out there!
I agree with some of the above comments…..I appreciate commentary about the trip and during the walk. Since the Camino can be so different, I would benefit from commentary finds, remarks and suggestions as well. Thank you for considering it for the future.
Wow!! Wow !! Wow!! EYE CANDY !! What a sensorial treat for the mind, heart & soul !!! Efren you MUST show this film @ our MDC film festival !!! PLEASE!!!!!! It will be a hit !!! Do not think it twice !!! Espectacular!!!!! I can do some ground search for you; please let me know 👍🤞🤞🤞
Beautiful , lovely music, and in some ways it allowed for my own thoughts along the way, but I have to say, that I REALLY missed the "Good Morning Pilgrim" and realize now HOW MUCH your talking and commentary adds to my enjoyment and engagement to your vlogs.
Thank you so much Daphne. I wanted to create a compilation that can reach pilgrims that don't speak English. You will always have the vlogs to hear me go on and on about the nuances of the camino experience.
@@Walk_with_Efren Yes, I can see that now. Nevertheless, I thought maybe you would appreciate hearing how much your dialogue and personality comes through when you talk and how attached we are to that.
Oh what a wonderful surprice! And what a great gift from you! My heart skipped a beat when I got a notification. I'm so going to enjoy it this minute! Thank you Efrén! 🎁❤🐌🌻
Another amazing video from you. I was just thinking that I like hearing you talking/explaining things on youtube but this also explains a lot and express more emotions in many parts. Thank you.
Such an inspiration, as this is the Camino that I am likely to walk. I would like to do El Norte, but that will not be within my physical abilities. To see this beautiful scenery, the ocean views, the forests... breathtaking. Once again, you've outdone yourself!
Très beau reportages. La prise de vue est fantastique. Quel rigueur tu as eu de filmer toutes les étapes avec autant de minutie. J'ai hâte de faire ces étapes de et voir ce que tu as vu. Bravo ! J'aime beaucoup !
Hola Efren been planning an Adventure to celebrate being alive after a bout with cancer. Your videos helped form my plan. I have done many of the same hikes you’ve done over the years and plan to do many more. Buen Camino Amigo
Where have all the flowers gone long time passing, where have all the flowers gone long time ago, where have all the flowers gone, Efren picked them everyone, when will he ever learn, when will he ever learn
Omg! What a nice walk down memory lane! Thank you so much for this! This video helped me relive my 2018 Camino Portuguese and stirred up all the wonderful emotion and nostalgia that came with it!
You filmed everything beautifully but I have only one doubt. Your title says Solo hiking along the Costa da Morte yet you didn't really hike along that coast, which according to tradition begins at Cabo Fisterra and ends in Malpica de Bergantiños. You seem to have turned inland at Vilanova de Arousa to finish in Santiago. To walk the Costa da Morte you would have to stick to the coast passing Muxia, Camariñas, Arou, Camelle, Laxe, Ponteceso, Corme Porto and finally Malpica. It is a beautiful route and has become famous for the Camino dos Faros, which I am sure you are aware of .
Un trabajo de primera, hice el mismo recorrido dos meses después que tu y desde Lisboa, pienso repetirlo a partir del 1ro de Marzo próximo. Los recuerdos que me trae este video son el impulso para repetir. Thanks for your effort in bringing us this beauty. Ultreia.
@@Walk_with_Efren Efren, llevo hechos muchos y variados caminos, el Portugués lo quiero ahora hacer por el interior y quizás me desvie pôr el Portugués Zamorano que me lleva al Sanabres.
Thank you Martha. Dates are on the vlog's description. I did the litoral trailing the coast as much as possible. The coastal route goes inland at times.
Did you walk the regular coastal route or the senda litoral? I will be going this September and still can't decide which route to take! This or the central...
Simply amazing as always, Efren. Two questions: where didi you stay in Porto and when you get the Camino passport card from the church? I arrive on April 10 (at night) and departing on the 11th of April. Trying to figure out how to obtain this Camino passport card from the church. Thanks for all the amazing videos.
What month did you walk this? I want to go in September, but I’ll be alone and I want to make sure there will be other pilgrims. Thank you for sharing!
This was in March of 2019. The specific dates are on the vlog's description. When I walked it there plenty of pilgrims and I belive the camino Portuguese is more popular now.
