Wow, your mom was 15 then when she saw them. We're the same age (55 now, as your mom as she was 53 then when you posted), but she was lucky to have been to their concert.
Terminxman without quiet riot heavy metal wouldnt be as popular as it is today. you werent there at the time so you wouldnt know but quiet riot was the heaviest band at the time that actually got mainstream attention. also this song is heavy but its still prob the softest on the album. the term head banging became popular after their song bang your head was released so pay your respects you little shit.
Terminxman hate to break it to you but in 83 slayer might have existed but nobody heard of them until other metal bands got popular you can thank quiet riot for the fact that you even know slayer exists.
El tema más conocido de Quiet Riot, no es de ellos, sino de SLADE, exponentes ingleses del llamado Glam Rock, cuyo tema fue compuesto a principio de los 70's. Soy de los 80's, pero prefiero el rock de los 70's. Saludos
Was stationed in Germany 98-2001, and a new Soldier arrived. He blared this song in the barracks hallway, and I knew I had a friend! Still talk to him til this day! Thanks Dave for being a Metalhead friend!!!
Also no one feels sorry you used the shot to get out of the military. It’s non hackers like you who should have never served in the first place wanna cry when you get told you need to take a shot to protect yourself and others something you swore to defend FOH
At first listening i didnt know it was a cover... But they definitely took it to another level. These guy were so talented, they dont get enough respect
Metal Health was my first listen to hard rock in the 80's... I still love the album and think that Kevin DuBrow had one of the coolest voices in rock! They sound killer live.... tight!
RIP Frankie 💜😭 As my Mom lies in hospice and in the last precious hours of her life, your passing has hit me extra hard. Love you and your beautiful heart and soul. You are a God and pioneer on the drums!!!
Que suerte tuviste amigo yo quisiera ir a un concierto de ellos pero desgraciadamente ya no se puede y no se podrá pero me conformo con el legado y buena música que dejaron, Saludos desde México
I love this!!!! I think its so cool!!!!! I don't care if the video is silly or cheesy!!! Quiet Riot is bad ass!!! The 1983-86 era is awesome!!!! RIP Kevin!!! Miss ya bro. Hopefully you are jamming and rocking out with Randy Rhoads up in Heaven somewheres and drinking beers and scoring with some foxy angelic babes!!!!😇😇😇😇😈😇😈😇😈😊😊😊🎸🎼🎶🎸🎼🎶🎵🎸
+Sarin VX i was in 9th grade on that tour my parents wouldnt let me go to the concert because it was a school night so we said we were going to the library we went to see quiet riot and left before sabbath and got home at like 9pm
@@romelovesdan I've listened to plenty of Slade. I think Quiet Riot would have been better suited to cover Gudbuy T'Jane as a power ballad instead of Mama Weer All Crazee Now for Condition Critical
@@kevinbadger8030 In your opinion. However, the vocals, the bass and the drums are all far superior than the mess produced by QR. Slade's version is happy and uplifting. After hearing QR I feel like I need to have a shower.
I met Quiet Riot and Kevin Dubrow back in September 3rd 4th and 5th 1983 at the Electric Cowboy Festival my best friend Teddy Mueller drummer for AXE Band introduced us! Kevin and I became good friends! and the rest of the band was always good to me to Great bunch of guys! I know a lot of people said Kevin was hard to get along with but he was always good to me and we always had a good time !He never liked come on feel the noise cuz it was a Krokus song but it made the band famous and it let Kevin write songs and he became a great songwriter and singer he will be missed! Love you Bro! R.I.P. Don"Woody"Woody A.K.A. ROCKINWOODY! Quiet Riot was the first heavy metal band to have a number one album on Billboard! what an awesome show all kinds of energy and they really could work the crowd! sorry if you never got to see the band you really miss something special!
I think what I miss is being able to go to a public place, still shake my ass, bang my head, and enjoy the music like I did when I was in my 20's. The inside of me still wants to and still feels the noise, yet there is no where to vent myself as I have grown to old to go to bars. My rock-n-roll is what keeps my heart pumping, literally. So, here I am on RU-vid!
Vallerie Nikirk Nothing wrong with that. Just keep on ROCK'N, keep on FEELing THE NOISE! As for age, if you think your feeling old then I do too. I am 37 and hail from the early 80's. The year was 1981 and I can still remember being at my cousins house back then with MTV on the teletube with this kind of music going. If only we can jump into a timemachine Delorien and set the course to whatever date whatever year in the 80's and relive them days all over again (perhaps a little differently for me since I was really little then). 😁🤘
This song made my summer of 88 or 89 great, don't remember which, but it was one of those! I remember mowing my lawn in the middle of August listening to Slayer "Seasons in the Abyss" around that time too, felt very fitting lol. Nothing like listening to War Ensemble while you're sweating your ass off in 100+F heat.
Born in 67, i grew up on this stuff and to me this was rock, this was music. i guess all good things come to pass but damn i had the best times of my life back then. 9 years, 9 months til i can retire...
Not an easy solo to play sitting down. Bravo Carlos. This solo was a memorable part of been a 13yo in the 80's. 53yo now and still a blues rock guitar fan.
As someone who was born in 1972 and grew up with bands like Quiet Riot, I WILDLY MISS that kind of music, positive madness and gigantic creativity, politically incorrect lyrics, limitless freedom of speech and ability to self expression that next generations never even knew, as they were already heavily intoxicated and disturbed by Big Brother, Steve Jobs plus I, I, I, me, myself and I deranged mentality. Not to even start about that reptile Elon Musk, an alien who wants to enslave human race with AI - as if we didn't manage to survive for thousands and thousands of years, relying purely on common human sense and healthy societal values 🙄🙄🙄
I'm so with you Born 73, I read your comment, you know I talked to people often and tell them I remember the black and white switch over talking about color TVs, when people were still watching black and white TVs and it was normal to see him in people's house in the early eighties and mid-80s. It's just small things like that that just takes me back I miss along with the posters on my sister's wall of all these groups. Really takes me back
Carlos!!!! Carlos!!!! Carlos!!!! Rudy!!!! Rudy!!!! Frankie!!! Frankie!!!!! Kevin!!! Kevin!!! Kevin!!!! Thanks for the awesome music!!!😊🙂😃😀🙂😊 Miss you 😢 Kevin and Frankie 😢!!!! RIP!!!! Quiet Riot was the Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock band that had a number #1 album on the charts in 1983!!!! 😂😂😂
Propably the first Rock Song l has listened in my life AND fallen IN LOVE, I play it sometimes. It is NOT exactly a GREAT Song, but it makes me happy. Thanks, Quiet Riot.
Rick Parfitt from STATUS QUO fame, was great mates with Quiet Riot in their very early days, before they were called Quiet Riot. Rick suggested that they call themselves QUITE RIGHT, which the Band misheard. Just a bit of info some of you may not have known.
