Color grading with my LUT 24-6 (v1) for SLog-3 LUT: henseluts.etsy... Camera: Sony FX30 Lens: Sigma 18-35 Instagram: / romanhense How I use my LUTs in Premiere Pro patreon.com/romanhense
Thanks a lot for your purchase! 🙏🙂 I didn't make a version for the camera, you still won't see the correct result because the camera doesn't correctly reproduce the colors of the LUT. just use the built-in assistant for slog3. That's the only way I shoot.
Thanks a lot! I don’t use Davinci, but I think everything should be the same. you simply apply LUT to the entire video and then make basic adjustments (such as contrast, exposure, white balance) for each shot individually.
Love your videos Roman! The sense of aesthetics and the choice of how to capture moments are how i interpret beauty and is similar to how i do photography - but totally new to video now. I just bought the FX30 and considering buying your LUTS. As a beginner i have a little question though that drives me crazy: 24fps or 30fps? Your videos are 24 - but i think composing mostly for 60+hz Monitors. What´s your short take/thought on why you don´t shoot 30 and avoid the 3:2 pulldown? Would 30 feel too "cheapy soapy" to you?
Hi Roman, always blown away by your videos, I bought all your LUT packs including this one. Question, I’m I right in assuming you don’t first convert the slog3 footage to rec709 and then add the LUT like traditional LUT? I ask as when I do this it just doesn’t work. I previously bought LUT-23 pack and they worked like this more traditional way. Instead with your LUT 24 pack I’m to work kind of backwards where I apply the LUT first before converting slog3 footage to rec709, and then adjust the non converted clip to look correct? Please could you clarify if this is the correct way to use lut 24 pack as this does work, I just have never edited slog3 footage like this before. 👍🏼
Thanks a lot for all your purchases! 🙏 with LUT 24 you don’t need to convert to rec709. Just apply the LUT to your raw slog3 footage and then you can do a basic colorgrading like a contrast, exposure, white balance… that all. 😉🙌
@@RomanHense Fantastic, thanks for clarifying Roman. Your work really hits the spot for my taste and I’m trying to master this type of style for my short films. Your products will surly help me in doing this so thanks for all the effort and background work you do to bring these Luts and videos to us. 👍🏽🤟🏽
Thanks! at the beginning I couldn’t get used to the fact that it wasn’t BRAW... it was difficult to do colorgrading. then I figured out Slog3 and now I don’t miss braw anymore.
Yes, our brains have become faster. Reels, shorts, tiktok… We want to absorb more information in a short period of time like with fastfood haha :), and our brains already cope well with this speed. I get the impression that time passes faster, so sometimes I want to take longer and slower. This video was originally much longer, but I decided to make it as short as possible. When I was in that place, I sat in the car and just watched the movement of the sun's rays and shadows in the car the time seemed to slow down, and I could allow myself to stop rushing. It was great... I want to get back into that slow, calm vibes.
Класс ! Большущий респект тебе за вдохновление ! Благодаря именно тебе, решился на покупку Black Magic Полнокадровой и сета анаморфной оптики от GreatJoy! Я так доволен, что просто ппц :) Спасибище !
Picture on sony fx30 is really bad. Worse than your iphone 11 footage! Bmpcc 4k was from the other planet. Fx3 is not really good but way better than fx30
