Ryobi Sent me a RYOBI 40V HP 21-inch Brushless Cordless Electric Snow Blower with (2) 7.5 Ah Batteries and Rapid Charger to replace my gas snowblower that was leaking gas and made me stink after every time I used it.

Very quiet!
Overall works really well for light duty snow and totally saved my back over shoveling, but I would have loved to have a 2 stage mower that is self propelled. That would be snow clearing dream!

Ryobi must be testing this snowblowers in Arizona during summer, thats why they work on them. My second Ryobi snowthrower failed during our first snow storm in Michigan!

you are right, it does seems that the testing is Arizona, because mine did too - simply died right when there was 9 inches of snow in Chicago

We purchased the Ryobi 40 volt 21 inch snowblower and took it back the next day. It was very quiet as it wouldn't stay running! 1 star at best, that's for the light.

I'm glad I don't live in an area with so much snow. Though I do want lots of snow 😆. Great review. Definitely what I would go for it I need it.

I got this snow blower for Christmas. There is one screw but we are having problems getting it into the hole. Can you show what we might be missing.

Good luck! Mine worked once. The next time I used it it would only turn the lights on and click. Returned! Two battery is a Hassle. Working temp is only -20C

@@YuriTereshyn yea good luck, first got it was Ok for 40V. But why it just wouldn’t work I don’t know, outside temperature was ok batteries were stored in house, but at the store it was commented that this wasn’t a rare thing.

It would not work if the handle are not extended up after folding/storing.

@@IvanYTube that wasn’t it. The repair outlet said it was a major fault that couldn’t be fixed. He had 3 other units in the same shape.

Home Depot pulled this model and no longer sells it. It disappeared from Ryobi's web site as well. Had to return mine even though I was impressed with the performance to size ratio. It just wouldn't stay on and took like 12 button presses to start again. Definitely made it to stores with a manufacturing defect.

Snowblower came with the house? That is lucky. Ryobi has a 2 stager out now. How do you store your batteries?

Just got same model a 6 days ago. During 2nd use it's just died. Rode a lot of reviews about this and thought i'll not be that lucky but it's do what most people write! I personally found ONLY one pros - it's really quiet. Everything else can be better. I definitely will not give another chance with this model again.

Mine died, different model right below this one. Hit a snow bank and it shut off and never turned back on, just the lights. Returned it for a refund. Go with another more trusted older brand.

I have an older version of that snow blower and it handles 95% of the snow fall I get here in the GTA. For my 4 car driveway it will use almost 50% of the battery for deep snow.

That 35 feet throwing distance is the biggest lie I’ve ever seen on a product. I have it and even when we get super light and fluffy snow I’m lucky to get 2-3 feet throwing distance. Hands down one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made.

It's a piece of junk, Ryobi 21" brushless 40v snowblower! First time to use on a 2 " inch snow, it work for awhile, then it quits! Batteries are fully charged. Motor wont even turn!

You must live in the south. we don't even shovel that little amount of snow. 6" or better than maybe blow it. So it can't do over 1" of snow? That is not heavy snow pilgrim.
