Always wondered how these work. I personally don't like wraps and I enjoy the process of Fletching my own arrows. It is therapeutic, enjoyable and relaxing to me. I always challenge myself to get the all within a grain of each other with the median point being 450 gr. Thanks for your videos. Enjoy your channel.
I was at an archery shoot and my vanes started flying off the shaft. 3 arrows I had to replace! So I have seen this demonstration and decided to take the plunge and purchased 12 Quikfletch. Later on the day I went to the archery range and the arrows flew off the bow very well. I just had to figure out my gap and then I was in the yellow!
Best to remove nocks if at all possible. My nocks deformed. I even tried wrapping the nock with a split foam ear plug and aluminum foil but it still got deformed. Unfortunately, nocks are not removable on the vintage Easton 2018 Gamegetter II arrows. Please share if you know how to remove them. Also, I can't recommend the Twister for the original Whisker Biscuit because it did not glide very well through the bristles. I'm sure drop away rests would work better.
I just bought one set of 6. The shipping was crazy expensive, nearly $18 buck to ship 1 pack of 6 quikfletchs. So it doubles the price of the quikfletch solution... Not happy about the shipping. If you can buy them locally, do that instead. I couldn't find a feedback email on their website either. Disappointed in the company so far.
Some good info on this site. But Christ having those mounted heads behind you is totally gross. Can't believe people shoot these animals for pleasure. $25 US for six. Way cheeper to buy new carbon aarows!
