Finished to rewatch all the 13 episodes , it was a very long time I did it for the 1st time before Quiller vanished from TV. The series definetely deserved more seasons with more budget. Thank you for posting.

Very good series and Michael Jayston is much more interesting and sexier than the actors who played James Bond.

Definitely the best in the series, actually filmed on location and the stock footage of the Oktoberfest, while overdone a bit, served to keep the atmosphere going and at least matched the grainy quality of the outdoor filming. So they spent a bit more money and cleverly went back to some of the source material, the plot and self induced narcolepsy of the Berlin Memorandum. Nice that he finally got the girl of the first episode (Lovely Sinead Cusack). Great shame that, like the best series, (Firefly et al) never got the exposure it deserved. The concept was revived with the brilliant Sandbaggers. The earlier Quiller movie with George Segal was an OK non-Bond, but the Deighton Ipcress File and Funeral in Berlin movies were far superior in mood, plot and style, Caine's Harry Palmer more devious than inventive. Quiller definitely deserves a Reboot. Thank you for uploading.

How nice to hear Gustav Mahler as the theme music for this episode.

In real life Peter Arne was quite a colourful character.

Not sure we needed the stock footage of the parade ever 5 minutes It's a shame that the series used the same production values of 1960s tv series rather than stepping it up and persuading the Americans it was worth a second series as some of the scripts were good
