I love this because I'm so fly by the seat of my pants that I make a deplorable quilter. This I think I can do! I used to make bibs for my girls by taking a terrycloth hand towel, cutting a hole in the middle and putting t-shirt ribbing around it. You had to pull it over their heads, but you could usually wipe off a face as you did it. They all go in the bathtub anyway 😂

Today I subscribed as a new member. So glad to find your crafty channel this morning. Very easy to follow along with your tutorial. I have a little boy baby shower in April. Looking for cute boy inspired bibs. My thought would be a cowboy print bandana. Looking for unique designs and styles. You really inspired me! Thanks for the cute ideas. Rewatching the video and I was thinking that putting towel fabric as the backing would be a good idea as it absorbs better. Great video thanks. 😊

I love to make baby blankets! 2 pieces of soft cute flannel-- right sides together, turn right sides out & top stitch. Moms love them! For family I embroider baby name & date! ❤️❤️ (Embroider before sewing! 😄)

I wish the instructions were also free. My best friend and her husband just adopted the sweetest baby girl and they do not have much to start with. So I am making burp clothes, blankets and bibs. Thank you for the video and the template.

Thanks for this cute tutorial! Though I haven’t needed to in a long time, my favorite baby article was burp cloths/rags! I always was able to find cute baby fabrics in flannel…and the moms, and babies, loved them. Machine washable, of course!!

Love the idea of Q.A Y G. and I have some already sewn, yeah! When I've made bibs, I put 2 snaps on the lower side which makes it adjustable for the neck 🤩

This is such a simple way to construct a baby bib. What are the finished dimensions of the bib you made in the video? I'm having a hard time figuring out what the finished neck opening should measure. Bibs I have made seem too small. I do not have any babies available to me to use as test models. Ha-ha! Thank you!

I QAYG to use my scraps and batting scraps. I just make one continuous 'fabric". Then cut it down as I need it. Most to make dog blankets.

I know you don't talk a lot about garment making but what are some rulers you use for garments?? What rulers do I need to start sewing clothes from bought patterns

You don’t need any rulers to sew clothes from patterns, actually! I do have a blog series about reading patterns. Practicing and making practice garments (called muslins) are the key 👍🏻

I love your videos and projects. I have tried to print the bib pattern but it will not print. Papier-mâché comes out blank. Any suggestions?

Oh interesting! Does it who’s up on your screen? If your printer is printing b&w, try selecting color, or vice versa. If you don’t get it printed, email me at pincutsew at yahoo dot com :)
