If you've ever wondered what our Quilt Retreat is like, watch this video and you'll get some idea of the fun that we have and what the facilities are like. Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp at 1203 Inwan Street in Milford, IA is the place where it is held and it is perfectly suited to host us. The campus is beautiful and the entire staff is always welcoming and friendly. Chef Chad makes us delicious meals and the crew does the dishes! When the news goes out for camp registration, sign up early because we limit the number of attendees to keep everyone comfortable! It's great fun and a chance to really get some work done on the projects of your choice. Plus there's a full service quilt shop right on site! What more could a "quilt camper" ask for?
The Quilted Forest is located at 205 North Clark in Forest City, IA. Our phone number is 641-585-2438. We stock patterns, books, notions, batting, and fabric for sewing and quilting projects. Our shop is filled with finished quilts and smaller projects to provide plenty of inspiration. We are open Monday - Friday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. We are in the central time zone.
