Part of me is utterly fascinated by the pure perfection of skill! …and the other part just is like 👁👄👁 what kind of style is this even? It can’t be labeled “aesthetically pleasing”… but then who are we mere mortals to judge? Keep on creating!
I am continually amazed that I can love and am always impressed by his incredible abundance of skills while simultaneously not like his taste. I can't even imagine the room or decor in which this dresser would go.
@@chriswalls5648 I think the comment was not meant to be literal, rather a functional version of this same vibe anywhere in a bathroom would be gorgeous
@@rodgermorrison9395 After your comment, I went back and looked at it. It was a year ago for me. And the I think it looks trashy is the blue color. I love most blues, except that baltic blue. It makes me nauseous.
@@sarahnovak261 No, your comment is unnecessary and rude, the YT comment section is for everyone to share their opinion, not for snowflake fucks to attack other people for stating their opinion, if you like it, go make your own comment, don't be a fucking pathetic loser attacking other people just because they don't like it. As I said to someone else in the comments, go back to Facebook, clearly you don't belong on RU-vid
@Dominic It's unreal, how many of you Facebook dwellers are on these videos, go the fuck back to Facebook, you don't belong on RU-vid. It looks ugly af, the OP tried to be nice about it, if anything you're the one acting like a troll you insignificant speck of shit.
I’m going to attempt to make a countertop for the island in my kitchen. My other countertops are black and I thought this would look amazing with black as well. However I’m not wrapping the stones I want the natural look. This is going to be scary but I’m going to try it anyway
@@lynng510 i am sure you will do it fine. I also like black in a kitchen, and generally black goes well with almost everything. Good luck with your project ;)
good technique and finishes the only thing is that they not combining colors and textures in right way, it does not look elegant, too many colors in one piece
Can't say I'm a fan of the sky-blue vinyl(would have gone with dark green or black, or maybe brown or red myself), but I do love the rest of this project. It must have taken AGES to wrap all of those stones in foil!
I would’ve glued the stones to a backing then use cheap thin aluminum foil, permanent adhesive spray and a big chip brush to cover the stones in foil, I’m WAY to impatient to individually wrap each one haha.
While the craftsmanship that went into making it is nothing short of extraordinary, that is ultimately one butt ugly piece of furniture. To each his own I suppose.
I think this is Eastern European taste. They like the gilded look. I bought a house from a Czech couple. I de-gilded the kitchen cabinets. A few hundred dollars of new knobs and pulls, some paint to go over the gold highlighting, and lots of man hours. Next up is the bathrooms. Shiny gold butterflies everywhere.
I just wanted to say exactly the same.... I respect the craftmanship but the result is the ugliest furniture I've ever seen. Maybe russian teenagers will see that differently :-)
Interesting process. I did like the foil covered stones, and someone suggested it'd look good as a shower floor (agreed!); but the quilting somehow made me want to build a snow fort.
This is one of the very few channels on youtube that their "sponsored product" is something that looks legitimately good. I want those magnet drivers so badly. Also the chest looks awesome. Definitely a "statement" piece! Good job!
Thank God we are not all the same. What is gaudy to some is beauty to others. I don't have antique furniture in my house, but I can appreciate old style furniture. It looks like a blend between old and modern with a twist. Suits the light above.
Thank you, was beginning to feel really bad, as I love watching this couple. I think he is prilliant at what he does. That chest of drawers looked so great in the factory.
A WONDERFUL ACTIVITY AND A WELL DONE WORK. CONGRATS. As an aspect, he left me speechless at how "gypsy" is this pieces. I think a ROMALLES / GIPSY-KING ordered that piece of furniture. They are with these bright colors and glitter almost everywhere.
*I appreciate the craftmanship but the colors and the materials/design are not working for me. Pale blue plus red, I thought it was for a kid's room but then the studs came and I was like, okay... What are you trying to make here exactly?*
I didn't like the blue and red either I think black and white or silver would have been the perfect color and or using one color was enough but I love the aluminum over the rocks very creative with the epoxy over it sensational, but what country are these people from?
I believe they are Russian. Ever since the fall of the old Soviet Union, they seem to be going wild with their free artistic expression. At times, we Westerners may shake our heads, but it's great. Think about it, for many years their artistic expression was suppressed. Now they are finding themselves and trying to digest artistic styles that we in the West have already experienced in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. At the same time, they are forming something new for themselves.
STUNNING! SO CREATIVE & ORIGINAL! Appreciate the Labor Intensive efforts for this Gorgeous Final Projects!!!! As an Interior Designer, I I would be honored to put your Stunning Creation in ANY HOME!! So Glad I got to see this creation… Keep up the great work!
I actually kinda like the finished look. *It's very chic. Very vogue.* I could easily imagine seeing this in a fashion magazine or some wealthy person's mansion. ✨😐
That was all well done and well executed with fine work. But I absolutely hate the look 😂 the table top was amazing but I find the red interior and that pale blue quilted look on the outside with more studs than a belt from 2008 hot topic style was a bit too much. Who knows maybe this is the come back of studs. The scene kids had it right
jeremiah corey , I totally agree with you. I was expecting a simple look where the pebbles would stand out. that quilted look took away from that awesome pebble top.
Sat through this because you can appreciate the skill and the workmanship and I did like the Pebbles but yes the blue upholstery subtracted from the look in a cheapened eye-sore sort of way
it's a matter of perspective and balance with the rest of the room. If you put this in your apartment of course it would look silly. In a huge mansion it would make quite the statement.
