I use both of your suggestions. One other item I have is an open top “vertical” accordion file folder that I put my less used ruler/tools with their directions. Like Studio 180. It sits on the closet shelf and it out of the way but easy to grab when needed.
This would drive me crazy. I have discovered I want everything in a place and a lot out of sight my rulers needed places to roost. The Simple Quilter Michelle Fox had an awesome hack. A three ring binder with clear zipper pouches. I have 6 and all the smaller rulers have a pouch. Not banging around in drawers and ready at my finger tips. I don’t have wall space for peg board so I utilize one of my storage cabinets with simple hooks to contain my longer rulers again right by my sewing area. I love these ideas and your sewing room
I love my Skadis pegboard. Hubby on the other hand hates it because, according to him, it takes me forever to make a decision what I want or need - so many choices, so many options!
Looked up this IKEA pegboard. Just ordered a set that will suit me. They do deliver to my area. Thanks so much for the recommendation. Perfect. Better construction than the usually available.
