Really love this quilt. I say no border. I think the cute red polka dots will frame it nicely.

Kate stood on business with that “not gonna pre-wash” 😂 I starch and also do not pre-wash. But I wash my quilts afterwards. Love that texture.

LOL. I get asked whether on not about preaching red fabrics. My answer is always no. Even though, these are red fabric with white background. I use Color catcher on first wash on gentle cycle and that seems to work.

You think so? which one red or pink. I was leaning with no pink. I had to go out to buy some glide thread today. YES! I will be doing my own free motion quilting on this on.

Very cute idea, now I have some ideas for panels I have that have just been sitting. I’m not sure you need an outer border, or what would go very well is white with tiny red hearts or something similar. Otherwise, the pink would look best in my opinion, but follow your heart, it’s your quilt. Thanks so much for sharing!

Yes!!! Your design really makes this panel look great. I too bought the Cupid box, but I didn't like the pattern that came in the box. Now, after watching your video, I am going to have to prepare the panel. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I have had had this in my stash for a while and know I needed to do something fun with it.

The red is very strong. Maybe a dash border instead of a solid so it’s not too overwhelming? Erica Arndt’s 2023 sew with me had that style. And maybe small Ohio stars in the corners?

What do you think about just omitting the border all together. After looking at it on my wall today, I think less is more LOL!!

Yes, maybe with ric rac to echo the panel pieces? While I love a border, not always necessary and I think the red binding still does a great job framing the quilt!

Beautiful quilt & thanks for the ideas! I like both colors for the borders! Could you have a smaller pink border & then a larger red one?
