I’m so glad that your kids get to live all these experiences from Mexican culture, with no equivalence in the USA. My Mayan teacher used to say that knowledge of two (or more) cultures and languages just add to the possibilities we can have as people on this earth. And a lot of it is thanks to you that decided to take the step and come to Mexico.
I don't change my city for anything, here is my life, my happiness... I worked for 6 years in California. I made my savings, I came, I started my business, I have been with my business for 27 years and I am going to the United States just on vacation... 10 days and I will return because here I live in the present... and there you live the future... that reality is uncertain ... viva Guadalajara... and all of Mexico...

It’s great that you are including subtitles, but some of the automatic translations are really funny. When you said you missed your “rancho coffee” it translated it as if you said “rental coffee”. (café de alquiler) 😂😂😂

I was in Guadalajara last Oct/Nov for two weeks and rented an airbnb on Ave. Miguel Hildago y Costilla a couple of blocks off Chapultepec. One of the things my sister and I enjoyed was window shopping at the Novias y Quince stores. I think we might have spent longer doing that than looking at the pictures at Hospicios Cabanas! Guadalajara is a wonderful city and I look forward to my next trip soon!
You need to go to Guadalajara Zoo Zapopan, Andares,puerta de hierro and made videos there your channel will grown a lot more and you have everything super closed from where you live, explore the city and you will get surprise. The city has a lot to offered and is super beautiful. There’s the subway under the ground and you can go to different places taking the metro.

Glad you found the shops! We went 15 shopping late last October…I’m still in sticker shock and we didn’t come home with a dress! Your daughter is very fortunate! Watching you do this makes me feel like I better try harder but I don’t know that we can afford it. Tell the people how expensive these parties can be! It’s like planning a wedding! Or tell me how to do one that would be nice but not so expensive! One of my daughter’s best friends had one in December, there were lights, fireworks and she came in riding a horse! She had one of those black dresses. My daughter is so picky… just like her mother. It’s hard for me to justify so much money when I’d rather spend that for her wedding. My friends tell me they know people that are still paying off the quinceañera 5 years later… I don’t want to make payments like that. I know we can get padrinos but I’m embarrassed to ask. Her brother already gave a what could be 1/2 the money for the dress that she picked out that day.
