For me I have a lot of young athletes in my family and if they want to get to the next level I want them to understand how to manage their money especially the investment part. They don’t want to listen to me so when I come across interviews like this I can share with them.
It's not about how much money you make; it's about how much you save. It's still fascinating to me that many of these brothers leave universities without an inkling of how finances work.
@@teamcrypto8865 All pro athletes need to be financially literate. Remember, it's 10% talent and 90% business. Being an athlete is only a short window. Many of these athletes will retire in their early 30s, just as life is beginning. If they are not financially literate, you have to ask yourself: who were their advisors? Who were their sports agents? What about the institution or university they attended? It's all about being proactive and advocating for yourself. No excuses.
Family be the main one that take you down. Which is why I salute the mother and father of Michael Jordan,as well as the league, because they made sure to protect their interest.
Shout out to Quincy Carter, hey man, y'all gotta get Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves in there, Cuz brought a Gold Medal back to da A, come on man lol 🔥🔥🔥
Who said you didn't know ???, you'll be suprised how many people don't watch nba basketball, but they'll watch B-High and crew first @@philliphawkins2288
@FaithandPurpose828 Agreed, but I fault the media partially for hyping up Jordan ONLY like he was the only great player during that era. My wife is my witness, I've been saying this for years. MJ, Pip, & The Bulls beat some great teams! Suns, Jazz, Knicks, Pacers, Magic, Blazers, Pistons, etc. And that's not to mention other great teams during that time like Hornets, Rockets, Spurs...but the media NEVER hype up those teams nor their super stars like they hype up MJ. So, how would Antman know? If I wasn't living and witnessed it myself, I wouldn't know either. 🤷🏽♂️
😂 He said that’s no money 1.5 million That is MONEY , only 1% of the population have seen that kind of money . But I know he is saying comparing to how they spend it , ITS NO MONEY
He was no were near Vick...Steve young was more Vick than Quincy Carter..so was aron brooks Vicks cousin who played for the saints..Cordell Stewart was more of Vick than Quincy......Quincy hardly ever ran ..he wasn't known for that....
@@djsmellnloud7246 I know that that's why commented...the guy that lost the intintial comment said Quincy was Vick before Vick. Yea right ..fuck outta here
I never understood why these guys don't major in acounting and finance...pay yourself a fee as your own financial advisor, but then again I doubt their parents have any financial literacy. Even if you pro career goes down the drain YOU can become an agent and get aid from other athelets.
@@TRILLTALKTV true, and that's why I think they should go back in off season to finish their degree like Vince Carter did when he promised his mom to get his degree if she let him leave early for the NBA
And Romo wasn't a bad QB. He had a weaker defense than Dak has had the majority of his career and before Demarco Murray they couldn't get a thousand yard season from anybody. Romo failed in a few high TV time situations and it set the wrong tone for how a lot of fans view his career. He also succeeded in clutch moments despite society's opinion. I.E. drive against Redskins/4th down conversion
