Oh my goodness! I had quinoa sitting in my pantry for weeks and didn't know what to make it with. So I searched up Quinoa Recipes on YT, and this was 3rd down on my list. I made this tonight(but added chicken) and it was amazing!!! My 2 year old ate it, and for the first time in his 2 years, he actually* ate the broccoli and didn't toss it on the floor 😅 Thank you!
Hello, I am from Bolivia, and I eat QUINOA since I was born, it is a very nutritional food and gives a lot of energy, as everyone knows it is a food originating in the ANDES in South America, that is where I live, in the ANDES. I consume Quinoa about once a week, and in the way that I like the most, it is to cook the QUINOA as if it were rice, and then make a sauce with onion, tomato, salt and yellow pepper, all prepared with oil in a pan and toast. this sauce for about 20 minutes, and to give it that delicious touch we put a little grated cheese on it. Hmmm delicious. Here sometimes we accompany this delicious dish with a little hot pepper, but that depends on each person. Greetings from BOLIVIA, the land of QUINOA.
First time ever making and eating quinoa. Avoiding all grains so I had no choice but to use it in place of rice. I am so pleasantly surprised. What a great recipe. Easy and tasty, choc full of goodness. I didnt have peppers or courgettes, so I put butternut squash instead. I dont like broccoli but I had no problem eating it in this recipe. I ate Quinoa for the first time 4 years ago and completely disliked it and never ate it again. I am currently trying to eat healthy and so finding different recipes. I came across this recipe as I knew that somehow quinoa is healthy but was scarred from the first time trying it😆. Anywho I made this this evening and when I say I have fully converted to eating quinoa. This is the BEST taste I have ever tasted, the fact that my 2 year old and 3 year old ate it (they are both picky eaters) and the fact that my 2 year old wanted MORE after she had finished is a complete game Changer. My husband is not home yet so hasn't had dinner but I'm hoping he will also like it because it is definitely going to be a regular dish. THANK YOU so much for sharing this recipe. xxxxx
Thank you. I'm the first to admit that I'm a fussy eater, it took forever for my wife to get me to try couscous. I simply decide I don't like something simply based on looks or texture. I would have never tried Quinoa if I hadn't seen yours. I have to say I was blown away by that meal, it was excellent thank you. We got to it immediately and its unfortunately done before I could take a picture. I will, next time around and share with you.

Just realized that quinoa has way too many carbs for my new Keto diet journey 😥 But cauliflower rice will be a great substitute. Can't wait to make this . Maybe it will be my first video on my RU-vid channel. Thanks
Great substitute for rice! quinoa fried rice with all veggies is so nutritious with no carbs and makes it the best healthy Chinese dish! I used True Element quinoa and made it for my family on a weekend and everyone loved it at home! Do make it for your family and friends!
Depends on the quality of the quinoa. But approximately it takes 10-15 minutes Cook till u see tiny roots like thing coming out of the quinoa. And touch and check if it's soft like rice.

No it just needs to be washed. And if you want it to get cooked fast then you can soak for 20-30 minutes and it will get cooked quickly otherwise just wash and use .
1 cup quinoa has 222 calories. But it's high in fibre , low glycemic index, high iron, high magnesium. So don't just see calories. There are other benefits to it. Rice has its own qualities and nutritional value.

It is healthy. Untill and unless you eat every day or consume in large quantities. One or 1/2 tsp won't harm you. And you can always replace with home made sauce Or just salt and pepper and green chillies.
These videos where you don't tell us what you are doing are pretty much worthless. I, and many others, have low vision. It's difficult to read the words which are usually behind the red bar that shows where the video is. So I and those like me just have to move on to other videos where they aren't afraid to talk about what they are doing.
Hi thanks for your input but there are those who tell us that we hate long videos where they talk and make videos boring. Also it's not about being afraid it's just that when we start talking we kind of try to explain more in detail and then the videos become lengthy.
