Yeah and its important to point out with stormtroopers specifically, they weren't generally evil dudes, the empire as a whole was evil, but when the empire controls the majority of the known galaxy, its just best to be on their good side. The stormtroopers were generally the most elite of the imperial military's conscripts. They are shown to be bumbling morons in the films but they were generally pretty deadly and efficient. The Imperial troopers are just normal dudes, some may be shittier than others but generally they are just fighting for the empire because literally what other choice was there. Rebellion cropped up on different planets all of the time but it was easier and safer to lead a normal life and provide for your family by quelling rebellions as a trooper than anything else. The First Order was different, many of those soldiers were genuine zealots due to being taken and brainwashed as children. They were a regime of evil. Also another interesting thing to point out is the The Empire in the OT era was..actually not all that bad. They were an empire ran by pretty bad folks, and plenty of worlds were resource mined to death because of them, civilians were seen as expendable, there are a million bad things they did, but in terms of being a genuine political system, they did their job and many folks just lived a normal life under the empire. The First Order was made into more of a genuine villainous force by being direct opposition to the new republic and waging war against them in terrible ways.

@@kevinbaumhoer7359 That was something reconned in and even then the empire was way too into committing warcrimes andcreating a military dictoarships with a lot of politically infighting. The vong may have just waited a bit sent more infilitators to cause more problems while they built up strength in the unknown regions and then attacked.

20:33 To add another point to how good the empire is, when the sith, the jedis of the empire, recruit new sith they basically say "Hey, wanna come with us and train to be super powerful and rule the galaxy along side us?" while the jedis, specifically Qui Gon Jinn to Young Anakin, basically goes "Hey child, you NEED to come with us or your family is in grave danger!". The jedis force themselves onto force sensitive children, while the empire gives them a choice. I'm completely pro empire honestly. Also, 33:19 Hello, past me in twitch chat.
I mean… the Sith also brutalise their apprentices, give them a false sense of choice by manipulating them into it and ultimately treat them as expendable tools… So extreme Communist vs Capitalist ideologies at war really.
You can tell the difference between a storm trooper and a clone trooper by there helmets and the difference is strom troopers can't take a hit from anything larger than a blaster the size of a Glock
Yo I know it's already 2 months but, stormtroopers began as a group of trained soldiers (first troops), than they become brainwashed soldiers (as in, with a chip in their brain) (second troops), then they are clones. And then the ones of the new movies are trained soldiers.
I just feel bad for the droids. That said… I don’t get the Empire love. I just don’t. I just cannot bring myself to like an unironically fascistic dictatorship lead by megalomaniacal sadists.
My main classes are anything that aren't heroes (with the exception of a few when my teams are shitters), I mainly prefer the sniper though cus I find it funny to oneshot some crackhead who isn't paying attention from the other side of the map :p (yes I have played and still do play this game)
No storm troopers are not clones. For one the empire wiped out the Kaminoins after they instigated a rebellion with their own clone soldiers designed to fight off the republic now empire clone army and afterwards stopped using clones since now the professional cloners are now gone
