Left my corpo job with a lot of security last year to start a gardening business. So damn scary but absolutely worth it, strange how "alive" I feel now. In the US - so healthcare is a worrying prospect - but the freedom to live life as I see fit is making me healthier than ever before. More time for my land, more time for my wife, more time to cook! My world is in harmony now. The burn out is so real, it's wild how I pump in more work hours now, yet I don't feel my soul being chiseled away. So many factors at play, but this really resonated with us. Chasing dreams is how our souls were meant to be.
I'm a public librarian and it's been a real nightmare since 2020. I have been seriously weighing my options lately and am proud of you for taking the leap and committing to a career move for your mental health! ❤️
Congratulations Jackie! I applaud you for following your dreams. If you pursue something that you are passionate about, you will succeed. As I near retirement in the next 4 months, I reflect back on my working career.I left corporate world 20 years ago and moved into academia. Best job I have ever had in my life! You state the same reason for leaving your last job that I had when I left corporate. You and Anya are amazing and you will do well together in your next adventure! Merry Christmas to you both! 🥰🥰💕💕💋
Thank you so much! It's scary af, but now all I can do is move forward 😅 It's really eye-opening how that is such a universal feeling, and that more and more of us have to experience burnout after burnout 😑 But so happy to hear the decision you made back then has made you thrive - I hope for the same 🥰 Belated happy Christmas to you too, and I hope your retirement in 2024 will be awesome 🥰
You will tattoo me, I am a transgender woman in north of Sweden, but I planning to move south and when I near I gonna come and get a tattoo :-) Have a sweet awesome day both of you
