You can either quit smoking and deal with the very OCCASIONAL urge to smoke, or you can keep smoking and deal with the very FREQUENT urge to quit. At least that's how it was for me. I smoked a 1+ packs a day and the smell, inconvenience, cost, and general stress of it was something that made me uncomfortable several times a day or week. Now that I dont smoke, I get discomfort in the other direction - an urge to smoke - maybe once a month.
For me it's been 8 months since I last smoked. I will tell my the benefits I noticed. 1. My hair quality got better. 2. My skin glow returned. 3. Saved a lot of many. 4. Now don't shy away from getting close to people I love, Earlier I used to avoid coz of Bad breath. 5. Because of no smoking I cut off bad people from my life, who used to be my smoke buddies.
day 3 smoke free!!! already feeling better! cold turkey is the way I'm doing this. I also quit alcohol on 1/28/2019 so it feels great to not be a slave to horrible poison ! good luck everyone.
I’m on day 2... I’m 31 and I’ve been smoking since 17. I would smoke a pack every two days. I had bronchitis back in December and I didn’t stop smoking or take care of it and now I’m dealing with pneumonia... ugh it’s hard but I’m trying and this is my first time “trying” to stop
Today i hit 9 months since i quit. I smoke since i was 16YO until 39YO. I still get the urge to smoke but No no no....its worth it. Since i quite i go to the sea early in the morning, i run 3,4,5 kilos and i do 100 push ups. I loved cigarettes but it really affects quality of our life big time.
Its been 5 months since my last smoke. I was very excited during the first months but now I feel sad actually kind of depressed and cant stop thinking about smoking again 😔.
That sucks that you're feeling that way. Try to re-imagine why you quit, and how helpless it feels to be addicted. This is just the addiction playing tricks to try and get you to crumble. You should be really proud of how far you've come. Don't mess it up! I would suggest checking out some Joel Spitzer videos. I'm sure he's got materials talking exactly about what you're going through right now.
Thanks dude for your words...It is a daily fight and I will try to be strong as much as I can 🙏🏻...I feel I was happier before but I know this is actually my addiction telling me that - It is a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. Thanks God a pack of smokes is over 12euros here so it makes me think if i want to start spending all that money again which i dont.
@@HealthWink we are doing well!!!! Thank you!! Except the fact that I'm still smoking 😔🙈 but I will try again one day...lol you look fantastic and were so happy for you that you stuck to it and are doing so well!
Congratulations on your success. I just wondered if you have tried Niacin Vitamin B3? I have just started taking it for fatigue. It is good for so many things, particularly stress. I swear by this supplement. Please research it, it is relatively cheap, definitely give it a go!
Do you think cigarettes are evil if you only smoke like 4-5 cigarettes a week? Is there such a thing as people that smoke 4-5 cigarettes a week for a very long period of times like during the span of decades? Or do eventually everyone gets addicted to a pack a day smoking daily? I think this topic is not well elaborated. Guess tobacco is way more addictive than alcohol. Yes alcohol withdrawals are way more serious than tobacco withdrawals but I feel like in order to get addicted to alcohol you need to drown in it every day for a very long period of time and also have some emotional issues. While with tobacco you just get extremely addicted in a short amount of time....
Marlboro lights are my brand! I quit smoking 23 days ago. I still feel pretty sketchy lol... I had to watch videos and read about quitting for about a week and now I just watch the videos in the evening. I do keep my last pack in the house with me. I would freak out and panic if they were gone. I'll will probably challenge myself to trash them in a few months. I love your videos because you are a very natural easy going speaker. Anyway, thanks for the videos.
