Only SMART, educated, learned and knowledgeable people will be able to keep up with him though. This pretty much disqualifies 80% of our people, all due respect. His delivery is Oxbridge level hence... Allah SWT knows best.
A Sufi is someone who rectifies his inner state not just outward, there is nothing wrong with purifying our inward from spiritual diseases rather it is a must. It's not good to be narrow-minded and base your thoughts on incorrect information.MashaAllah this lecture is a real eye opener
Quran... we read then we find out to be sure ..... why not when we find out then we read to be sure.. If it tell urself how deep ur faith is towards Ya'Allah.. then walk the way... Insya'Allah...
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful WalAAasr 1. By time, 2. Indeed, mankind is in loss, 3. Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
Most of our greatest scholars were "Sufis": even such thinkers as Ibn Taymiyyah. There is even a letter in which Ibn al-Wahhab reveals that he was a member of a tariqah. Islam has three dimensions: (1) islam: submisson; shariah (2) iman; faith; rational discourse; (3) insan; doing the beautiful; tasawwuf. This is Classical Islam! You seem to want an Islam that is reduced to one dimension.
@@al-kimiya6962 does this mean that the ground we worship on is also self aware, if it too will make testimony for us if we worship on a particular spot or place regularly?
No that's not it at all!! I know the likes of Ibn Taymiyyah, the prophet SAW, companions, rightly guided predecessors never called people to innovation and never said milawid is allowed. And this guy does!!
Of course, Sufism is not a part of the type of Islam that is only 200 years old and propagated by Abdul Wahab Najdi & his followers; but Sufism/Tasawwuf is definitely the part of Islam that is 1400 years old and preached by Prophet Muhammad PBUH and his companions, particularly 'Ashab e Sufha'. Also, it is better to know that Ibn Taymiyyah wrote close to 30 books on Tassawwuf/Sufism. "...some people criticised Sufiyya and Tasawwuf and they said they were innovators, out of the Sunnah, but the truth is they are striving in Allah's obedience [mujtahidin fi ta'at-illahi], as others of Allah's People strove in Allah's obedience. So from them you will find the Foremost in Nearness by virtue of his striving [as-saabiq ul-muqarrab bi hasab ijtihadihi]. And some of them are from the People of the Right hand [Ahl al-Yameen mentioned in Qur'an in Sura Waqi'ah], but slower in their progress.... And this is the origin of Tasawwuf. And after that origin, it has been spread and [tasha'abat wa tanawa'at] has its main line and its branches. [Majmu'a Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya al-Kubra, Vol. 11, Book of Tasawwuf, p. 497]. "The miracles of saints are absolutely true and correct, by the acceptance of all Muslim scholars. And the Qur'an has pointed to it in different places, and the Hadith of the Prophet (s) has mentioned it, and whoever denies the miraculous power of saints are only people who are innovators and their followers." [al-Mukhtasar al-Fatawa, page 603]. Ibn Taymiyya says, "what is considered as a miracle for a saint is that sometimes the saint might hear something that others do not hear and they might see something that others do not see, while not in a sleeping state, but in a wakened state of vision. And he can know something that others cannot know, through revelation or inspiration." [Majmu'a Fatawi Ibn Taymiyya, Vol. 11, p. 314].
Problem with Sufi's is they ally themselves to Islam, which totally ruins it. A real 'Sufi' does not need to bind herself to a book of rules. The sheep love to follow those who love to lead.
Mister Vertigo. Learn some grammar my brother: sufis (or even Sufis depending on what you mean) not sufi's in the context of your sentence. Oh on the issue if Sufis, even ibn Taymiahh was a neo-sufi!
Sufism is all about islam, it's the inner dimension of Islam, a real sufi is one who follows the sharia (outward) and tariqa(inward) aspect of Islam, without the outward aspect of islam, sufism no longer remains sufism, it rather becomes some 'new age spirituality' nonsense.
My advice to you is "please focus on learning your religion and stop spreading fitnah as I am sure you don't know the definition of bidah" and remember the more you learn the less you know as those who know speak less.
