I've got a 95 dakota. It wouldn't start backup if I drove it and then shut it off. I was told the battery was bad so I replaced the battery. Still did it. I was told it was the starter so I replaced the starter. Now the truck won't start at all. I have a buzzing noise when I turn the key but it won't start. Should I change the ignition switch next?
I have a 94 Dodge Dakota and the rear emergency flasher do not work (the front ones do). I was told I needed to change out the multi-function switch or the headlight switch. What do you think?
@@Bigdaddy1992. I reinstalled the old switch and key lock cylinder and bypassed the switch. Temporary fix until I can find a new or used switch and cylinder that fit together. Bought two new ones that would not fit each other. Anyway, back on the road again.
my uncles truck 95 ram , the old switch would not turn off all the way and key came out in any position! you could start it with no key, so I replace it and it didn’t line up so good I did get it but the key would not come out because truck gear shifter was not into park all the way. When I firmly held into park key would turn back and come out. Is there a piece in colum that breaks? The linkage is off but maybe this is common ??
