I had the videos on in the background while I would get ready and other things like that, so I would watch his videos a few times a day, so it could be up to a few hours of his videos every day & Now in quarantine I’m watching them even more I’m just glad the wii music no longer gets stuck in my head !! 😂
The impatient woman in the first story, who went up to the table saying "I have been waiting along time, when will you be finished and leave?" (Or something like that). The customers at the table should of replied to her with, "We'll leave as soon as we finish and pay our bill. But if you want this table so much, you can pay our bill and we'll leave right now." LOL
get what u pay for lol since she paid them the visit and made her annoying presence known if she doesnt pay then they should take their time and ask the wait staff to give any1 behind her their table, mayb give them an extra tip to do so. :D lmao
I still remember being there that day that markiplier came to PAX, and became furious at being ushered away by PAX staff before he could accept a heartfelt gift from a fan. Later on watching a video of his where be became visibly upset that he was unable to make that fan's day really touched me. I watched them usher him away screaming, first time i ever saw him truly furious. About how she just wanted to give him something. Markiplier was the kind of Influencer i expected us to see in the future. A new kind of celebrity who was accountable to their fans, and really loved them. It gave me hope. Unfortunately, we see now what the future holds 😒 spoiled, entitled pieces of shit that get famous and ruin other peoples lives. Reminds me of a video i watched once, that explained how martial artists dont go around picking fights because they learned through training and discipline, just what they could do to someone and the weight of it. And how working for power and learning to properly wield it always ends better than just being handed that power without proper understanding of what it means.
I disagree. Seems like the majority of jerk celebrities got their fame in the 90s or earlier. The young stars now-a-days seem to be much better and more kind. Tom Holland, Arianna Grande, Justin Beiber (he's no longer the jerk he used to be), etc.

The worst customer I had was this guy who didn't want foreigners to talk to him, he wanted a white male to talk to him. I told him that my manager is a female. He insisted on a male.

Backstory: I was still fairly new and had a trainee name tag on when this happened. The story: I was working at a famous restaurant chain in lake of the Ozarks, MO and I was taking the order of this guy who wanted a certain thing from the menu at a certain price (I don’t remember what the item was or the price he wanted was). I told him the price, he paid with a card, I gave him his receipt and cup, he saw the price on the receipt and started shouting at me that it wasn’t the price that he wanted. I tried to fix my mistake and he threw the cup back at me and stormed out of the restaurant with out his food. We had to waste the food

I didn't even have a "trainee" name tag or shirt at my old or current job. Luckily the customers I get now are mostly nice and understanding and those who don't understand just walk away without saying much.
All the people I went to school with made my life a living hell, I continued having nightmares about some of them years after I left school. Thank God they don't do school reunions where I live, even if they did there'd be no point in me going as I never finished school :D.
As much as I get why you wouldn't want to go, let me just tell you this: People change. When I went to my reunion, I got along with so many people who I didn't like or they didn't like me back in the day. Teens are teens. Teens fuck up, do stupid things but most importantly: they grow up(....or most of them:p) just because someone were an asshole at 17 it doesn't mean they will always be you know? Before going to my reunion one of my classmates and close friends told me she refused to go because of many incidents, one which was the fact that she gave a BJ to this other girl's boyfriend back in highschool ten years ago. She was afraid that this girl would give her hate if she showed up. Well, I go and one of the first people I see there is this girl in question. We hit it off and she says "but where's Julie?" I lied and said she couldn't make it. Then the girl said laughing: "haha, I remember I was so mad at her when she gave John a BJ! Haha. Too bad she couldn't make it. Tell her I said "hi"! And she was genuively laughing too! That just shows that people move on and highschool doesn't really mean anything in the long run.

*Telling this from the perspective of my friend who worked at Walmart* I witnessed the most hilarious yet unfortunate thing. A pleasantly plump kid was riding one of those store-ready bikes around, when he took a close turn into the liquor aisle following his parent. Scraping the corner they managed to clear the entrance but soon lost their balance with some good ol' speed wobble and crashed straight into probably $2,000+ worth of wine (like 30 bottles) that fell off the shelves like dominoes. I literally just watched speechless as the kid got up with red wine all over his clothes and on the floor with glass everywhere. It looked like a whole murder scene just went down. Moral of the story, beware of the young bike bandits when you are in the alcohol section of Walmart. I don't think the kid and his mom had any intention of buying the bike anyways, which makes it even worse for the store...

My worst customer is this lady. A week ago after we found out our small town had gained 28 Covid-19 cases. She comes in and stands at the door, the first thing she says is “are you sick, you have to tell me if you’re sick” and I told her no I don’t think I’m sick. She then took her face mask off, she went to get her liquor and then comes up to the counter. I’m just talking to her and then all of the sudden she coughs in my face. So if I wasn’t sick, I probably am now.

Your comment about RU-vid "influencers" giving the rest of you a bad name: these "influencers" are being driven to greater and greater extremes to make them stand out; there's nothing too stupid or too sick that they won't try to get five seconds of publicity - or notoriety, they don't care.. I really appreciate this channel. Like I've had these videos just play in the backround so much I just hear the first few words and can tell what story it's gonna be! It's so often so oddly calming? Like I'm just playing it while playing Animal Crossing and boom it's already the fourth video. oh man this reminds me why i’m so happy to no longer work in food service. I used to cater and was hired thru a 3rd party staffer, and finally at one gig this one manager who hated me for (from what i could tell) was no reason at all, called me over half way thru a gig and said they were over staffed and needed to send someone home early n asked if i would be okay with being that person. I went home and a few days later was called by my boss n asked why i was sent home, bc what the manager told him was that i was obnoxious and causing a scene (i never said a word and was as professional as possible) and that he had to fire me n blacklist me. my boss luckily said he didn’t believe him bc he had seen me work gigs for years and was always completely professional, and offered to keep me on at his own gigs full time. fast forward 6-8 months n i was at my local bar and saw that manager, dude was there on a date and turned completely pale when he saw me. He quickly made his was over and begged for me not to beat his ass in front of his date, as if he knew how bad he fucked up. I took the high road and just told him to find a new bar before i changed my mind, though part of me wishes i had just embarrassed him to teach him a lesson
Retail worker here. I once had two men come behind the counter (there was no door and this was a clothing store) and grab me close and take pictures of me. They said I had to let them because they were customers and I will be fired if I did not pose. I ran off near tears when they told me to brace the other man for a picture and I ran off. The managers told me to describe them and they were banned. According to a coworker a bout a day later a man came to complain about the rude cashier in glasses. They were thrown out and I was allowed a day off to relax and was not required to wear my name tag for my safety. Another story is I worked at a target that for whatever reason attracted pervy men. I was one of the oldest girls, two other ladies older than me that were not managers. We would get lude comments, propositions, and one even tried to get me to drive him three towns over because "his car broke down". I told a coworker and she shrugged "yeah, it happens. You get used to it. Just pretend you didnt hear them or go to the back and radio Joe as a shoplifters. Describe the guy and he knows what to do" to think they even had procedure for creeps! We all had to be escorted to our cars. It was nuts.
I hope this is happening less or isn't happening to you at all anymore. That seems horrendous. You handled the situation better than me. I would've probably begun crying right in front of them and then rolled up on the floor. I can't handle situations like that. I'm glad they handled what was going on. I hope you never deal with them again and have an extraordinary life!!

I was a waitress/hostess at a questionable local Mexican restaurant for 4 years. One time, a solo older man came in and started hitting on me, which I deflected. That is, until he asked if the handcuffs were included with his meal. I was 17. I told the story to my manager, who did nothing. His brother, who is built like a truck, went out and said to the guy "Why are you harassing my waitresses like that? You know she's 17, right? Keep talking like that and you're out of here." I got a crummy tip but it was so worth it. All of these stories remind me how much I never want to work in the food service industry again.
The asking if you're on the menu thing is so common, I used to waitress in a hotel and countless men would ask me some variation of that comment with their wives sat next to them. Customer service is the worst
My mother was a waitress at a local dinner theater in the 60s. Dinner theater is a very fast paced job for the servers. They have to serve every diner during the intermission. A table of 6 had a large bar bill. After the show they left a meager tip for my mom. She followed him out to his car and handed it back to him while telling him that he needed it much more than she did.
My mom is an assistant manager at a popular restaurant. The stories she has told me.... for instance, it was Easter Sunday and a guy actually got mad they closed early. He literally told her "Well, they need to be open so people like me, a single bachelor, can eat." He even asked why employees would want to leave early... on Easter Sunday... 🤦♀️
Hey guys here's my story. My old teacher I hated her Mrs no name. Me: Hey Mrs no name can I go to the bathroom? Mrs no name: NO! finish the story. Actually the story had at least 20 pages left! Me: Mrs no name I have to go BADLY! She didn't like that gave me a discipline slip for misbehavior. WTF? I also went in my pants wearing cacies which feels like wearing sandpaper same day she yelled at me for being rude to a girl who said her brother was hurt and i said he wasn't she got mad and decided to hit my shoulder with a computer mouse. Why I got in trouble idfk but like if you want another story :)
This is just one of the worst ones. I used to work in a shoe company who would sell high end brands as well as other brands and this was quite a few years ago. One day during the summer holidays not long after I had started when it was our busiest time of the year (Summer holiday shoes, Back to School shoes etc) we had a customer come back with a pair of shoes which were worn down to the core. Stitching coming out, ripped, soles worn out and just in a really bad condition. He claimed to have only brought them a few days when it was blatantly obvious that he had worn them for more than a few months. He was saying it was a fault with the shoes because they shouldn't deteriorate that quickly and that he was entitled to his money back. The shoes at the time were worth around £60 and being a branded pair, he would have to provide a proof of purchase. He gave us the receipt and the date showed that he had brought them over a year ago from us! When this was pointed out to him by my sales colleague, he tried telling them, pointing at me saying that I sold them to him and that I explained to him that out tills dates were wrong and that there shouldn't be an issue. Funny thing is my colleague said to the man that I was not even trained on the tills and couldn't have even logged in to do a transaction, let alone sell them to him. He started stumbling on his words and claiming that we were trying to con him. He then tried taking his old shoes and literally shoving them into the faces of other customers telling them not to buy from us as the shoes wouldn't last for more than a few days. One woman, who was a regular customer told the guy he was a lying scammer and that she had been buying shoes from the company for herself and her kids for years. The man obviously wasn't expecting someone to talk back to him like that, put on a defeatist look and just walked out of the shop, with his old shoes in hand. It might seem mild in comparison to others but the fact he was trying to con the shop, make me look bad when I was only just starting out there and then waiving his smelly old shoes in the faces of random customers just makes him one of the worst customers I had to deal with in my time with the company.
The worst customer I have had (and one of the reasons I no longer work in customer service): I worked as a bartender at Cedar Point (Amusement Park) in a building with lots of alcohol and live entertainment shows. During the show I watch to make sure no one goes on stage or disrupts the performers. This man comes up to me and stands really close to me. Like almost touching me. He tries talking to me, but reeks of liquor (C.P. doesn’t really sell liquor except in expensive restaurants), and he says to me while he points at his Starbucks cup “this isn’t coffee, it’s liquor.” At this point I cut him off completely and notified other bars there to beware, since we couldn’t serve to the point, or past the point of intoxication. He put his arm around me and kept saying how hot the performers are and how they made his c*** hard. I was so uncomfortable and ALMOST called security, but people saw what was going on and stepped in. Ugh.
I used to waitress in the Jazz District here in Kansas City, Mo. I've had several occasions of bad customers. A few that stand out: -A difficult customer stole my tip after the rest of his group left. -A woman called off and on for about a week trying to get me fired and get a free meal because she was short by 20 cents. She refused the quarter the manager offered. -A demanding church group of over 30 ppl stayed for 2 hours, needed two servers and only left us a $14 tip to split. -A young guy ordered a large platter of wings and a drink, then said he couldn't pay when the check came. -A customer came in with only about 10 minutes left on her lunch break and ordered chicken which takes 20 minutes minimum to cook thoroughly (yes, I told her this). She then proceeds to harass the kitchen and blame me for the wait, even after she received her order. I'm no longer a waitress.

I used to work for an almost 100-year-old family-owned restaurant and the staff was great, but the customers were awful. One time, I was working in the kitchen as one of the salad bar helpers and one of our witnesses named Karen, (Yes that was her name, but she was super nice and sweet. The rare nice Karen) came in and was upset. We asked her what's wrong and she said that this table was complaining about every single thing on their plate, from the salads to the drink and the meal itself. She asked us if the salad was fresh, and we told her that we just made the salads not even fifteen minutes ago (the same time that the customer's order came in). Karen told Rick and Jennifer, our managers that night, that the table was complaining about the meat being dry and raw. Rick was also a cook for over 20 years and was in our local newspaper and neighbor's newspaper as one of our state's and neighbor state's best cooks in 2019. Long story short, Rick went out of the kitchen to the table in his manager outfit and saw that the table was the local asshole that other restaurants warned about. This asshole would go into a restaurant and insult the food and the staff. The asshole was even banned from one for touching a witness' butt and telling her that he'll fuck her til she can't walk. He was arrested because the witness was 16 at the time. Rick told the asshole that he was the one who cooked his meal and he knows about his little tricks and he won't get away with them in his restaurant (the original owner and founder was Rick's grandpa, and now the owner is Rick's father and Rick and his brother are the co-owners). Rick also said to please enjoy your meal and went back to the kitchen.
That was an amazing way to handle that idiot. I congratulate Rick for being the better human being. I also have no idea why I'm typing like this. I feel fancy today. Maybe that's why.
When I was in high school I used to work part time in a Mexican restaurant, I’m big chested and one day this guy came in and sat down, I went to his table and gave him the menu and the whole time I was talking to him he was looking at my chest, my uniform wasn’t at all Revealing,it was a t-shirt with the restaurant logo and name on the left upper side Anyway, I took his order and when I asked him what he wanted to drink he said” A big glass of warm milk” still looking at my chest. So I did just that and when I put the glass of milk in front of him he said he was kidding, he wanted a coke but I said you didn’t say you wanted a coke. He got mad and said he wasn’t going to pay for the milk but my manager was listening since the Beginning and told him either pay or he will call de cops on him so he ended up not eating,just pay for the milk and left. F u Duck Dynasty looking guy 😤
I worked at a fast food place for about two years. He wasn't the overall worst customer, but the interaction that sticks out in my mind is this one older man. He came in pretty late at night, it was just me and the guy who closes the store out front, and since my coworker was cleaning I took the order. This man orders a burger and a salad (we haven't served salads for literal years at this place) and then argues with me about it because, despite the fact that I work there and we haven't served salads my entire employment, he is positive that I'm wrong. After a moment of showing him the menu and another moment of awkward silence, I shyly said "...so was that just a burger and fries?" He sighs and says really passive-aggressively "I guess I don't have a choice, do I?" I ring him through and when his food comes up, he gets really pissy again and goes "where's my drink? I ordered a combo!" even though he didn't, he very rudely ordered just a burger and fries. But I have social anxiety and we were allowed free soft drinks so I decide it doesn't matter if I give him one free drink. I hand him a drink and apologize before wishing him a good night, and he looks me in the eye and says "I'm just going to go to (other fast food place) from now on because they're so much better than you. but you don't even care, do you?" I really wish that I had said "with your attitude, I really don't care. Bye!" but I just awkwardly watched him leave, then rolled my eyes so hard that I saw my brain
Back in middle School some kid got his phone stolen. They updated his Facebook then snuck the phone back in his stuff. The next morning the school called his parents and offered counsel services. Turns out everyone but his parents and a few friends thought he was dead. He walked into class in the morning completely oblivious. It was the funniest thing that year.
The Frugal Gourmet was on PBS and portrayed himself as the guy next door on the show. He was also a minister. One day the show just stopped being broadcast. It was odd because it was produced by my local station. Eventually it came out why they stopped making the show. It was like he never existed.
Sometimes I forget how much i love Rslash. Honestly, i love how his personality bleeds into his videos. Even though it's just a reddit reading video, I feel connected to him?? Is it just me?
I worked as a host when I graduated college. We had a big party sitting out on the patio and I was under the impression that we had no tables available out there. Guy comes in and asks for one, and I tell him they aren’t available, so he takes a seat in the bar area. Turns out we DID have tables out there and someone else sat his wife at one. He came up, screamed at me to “do my job” and made me cry. Over a patio table.
Just remember that most people are powerless nobodies, and that's their one chance to have some power over somebody else. I'm sorry you're a nobody in your everyday life, sir.
I wanted to add to the high school reunion stories!! Not me, I'm only 20, but my father. My dad went to a high school up in Virginia, and he and his friend group called themselves the Anarchy Club. A bunch of theater kids who smoked weed behind the black box and pulled about a million pranks. One of his favorites was that they stole the school bells from the school every time they replaced them, and when the Anarchy Club graduated, they tied them all to the principals car and let them jingle away. What was surprising is that the event I'm about to describe was not a stunt pulled by the anarchy club, though they were eyed with suspicion thanks to their previous antics. I think his junior year, a group of angry kids (two seniors and an alumni) got together and set the school on fire. Not just a little, I mean burned the motherfucker to the ground. They threw molotov cocktails and ended up displacing the schools 1,700 students (I'm reading the wiki page on the arson to get the facts right). It made it really hard for the students, they ended up getting relocated to like 2 other schools until a new one could be built. I wanna say at their 10 year high school reunion (though i may have the year wrong), one of the arsonists showed up to the reunion. He'd gotten out of prison and had gotten married and had a nice life, but everyone there was incredibly shocked to see their high school arsonist show up. I wish I had more details about this story, I heard it from my mother and some of my fathers friends at his funeral a little over a year ago. They did have a lot of really wild stories about the Anarchy Club, but with the high school reunion I thought I'd throw out this wild story!!! Not sure where the other two arsonists ended up, wish I knew!
Both of these incidents were at my old job. This one was about 3 hours before I came in to start my shift, a woman wanted a return for something, but couldn't without a receipt. She was furious and stood at the register looking through her purse and said, "Fine I will stand right here to find my receipt!" There was a line forming behind her and the cashier asked if she could move so she could ring up the other customers. She furiously stormed out and about 30 minutes later a van pulled up to the sidewalk in front of our store and a guy came out and flipped over our table we had out there, (I believe it was our donation table). This one was more directed to me. It was my first day on the floor as a pet care associate and the person who was training me for the night was helping some other customers, talking to them about a bearded dragon. A woman with about 3 or 4 kids about 8-10 years old came up to me and asked if they could see one of the hamsters. Keep in mind I haven't had a hamster in over 10 years and I was only a kid at the time so my knowledge of hamsters or animals in general were limited. The person who was training me handed me the keys to open the cage and I didn't know how to get it out. I apologized and told the customer 3 times it was my first day and I didn't know much. My co worker helped me open the cage and the customer wanted to put 3 different breeds of hamsters in a single cage and which the customer had already gotten a cage and some supplies for it. Hamsters can be very territorial with other breeds and sometimes of the same breeds (except for robos who love to be together) and my co worker who was training me told the woman that they would fight if you put them together. The woman told the kids, "F*** this s***. Put this s*** back! I'm not going to get 3 f****** cages for 3 hamsters. My co worker and I went up to the front near the managers office and 2 of the kids came to me showing me what google said. I told them I was going on what I was told. They went back to the woman and she ended up getting a bird cage and to never be seen again. To my current job: I'm not exactly sure when this happened as I was only told of this story yesterday. There is a guy who likes to come in with his dog every once in a while to pick out a few things. I remembered the dog, but not him specifically at first. He was stopped by some other customers who had just paid for their stuff and were out in the parking lot. A while back he wanted to get his dog groomed or at least get his nails clipped and told the groomer that he would kill her if she made his dog flinch. My manager kicked him out of the store a couple of times because of that and another incident I don't know. He was banned permanently for other incidents at 2 other locations that were close by.
When I worked at a bakery, a woman came up to us (an hour after we closed. We didn’t have a traditional store since we were at a train station, an open store front and a small kitchen in the back) asking to give us a dessert for her niece’s birthday who also has cancer. she offered to pay but my manager had already pulled the register and closed down the system, so we couldn’t accept money anymore and it’s against company policy to sell items or give items away after closing (we could get fired if we were caught) . My manager explained as nicely as she could that we couldn’t sell her anything, mentioning the reason above. The woman went ballistic, tried to bribe my manager and accused us of “ruining her niece’s birthday” and “hating cancer kids.” She walked away saying she was going to tell everyone that “(bakery name) hates cancer kids!” Honestly...I don’t think she had a niece with cancer and if she does SHAME ON HER FOR USING HER NIECE TO GET A DESSERT!
I work in a somewhat nice restaurant. There was a young couple who came in, maybe 30 years old, and sat in my section that night. Everything seemed to be going well, but they wouldnt really acknowledge me when I tried to take their order or check how everything tasted. I decided to get my manager to check on them because something felt off. Apparently the lady flipped out to the manager, saying my service was horrible, the food was disgusting, and she was absolutely offended that we hang the tickets over a counter saying it was disgusting and she was going to get us shut down by the health department for that. I went back by to drop off the check and wish them a good rest of their night and caught her taking a picture of our kitchen (we have an open kitchen so guests can see everything). They still ignored me. Needless to say, they stiffed me and we havent been closed down because that's a very normal way to hang tickets in a restaurant. 🤷♀️
I worked at a BBQ restaurant that's fairly popular in this area. The owner had this policy (and probably still has it) of bending over backwards to appease any and all guests. As such, we had a fair few pretentious and entitled customers. There was one lady I remember in particular that was a regular and she was a more high maintenance customer. Whenever she would come in alone, she would refuse to sit at a two-person table because it was too small, would not sit in the middle of the restaurant because it was too cold, would not sit at any of the half-booth tables because they faced the wrong direction, and probably a few more demands for seating. It normally wasn't too hard to seat her, but I no joke went to four different tables with her before giving me a "I guess this will be fine." (I then got complaints from servers because the server who got her wasn't next in rotation.) So one holiday, I believe Mother's Day, the restaurant was filled and we were on a wait and she comes in. I tell her we're on a 30 minute wait and she says that's fine and waits. So I'm playing almost literal Tetris with the the party sizes and the available tables. Sooner than 30 minutes, a two-top opens up so I call her up and take her to the table. Of course she complains and I tell her, "Ma'am, this is literally the only open table in the restaurant and I need the bigger tables for bigger parties as we have a large crowd today." I see her mull it over in her head and she says, "Fine," before resigning herself to the table. I feel like it's a small victory on this stupidly stressful day. ...That is until about 10 minutes later when I'm taking a party of six to another table in the back. As I'm leading them, I feel a tug on my arm and an "Excuse me!" in and innocent Karen voice. I turn around and here's the woman sitting at a four-top that's covered in plates, food debris, and the war zone that is a child's seat. She says to me, "I need you to clean this table off for me right now." Here I am, slightly dumbfounded, carrying a load of menus and silverware with an number of people behind me. I should also point out that while it was part of my side duties to help bus tables, that's only when I wasn't busy with my other host duties. I tell her that I cannot clean her table as I have to attend to the waiting customers but I'll try to send her server over when I have a moment. The lady spent about 5 minutes sitting at the nasty table before someone got to her while I fixed my seating chart and carefully mapped out seating order. We had plenty of problem customers, but the absolute selfishness of this woman always stuck with me. It's been about seven years at this point.
For the "What's the worst Customer YOU'VE ever had?" Dude! I can tell you stories!!!! Okay, for some clarifications, I've been in the retail business for going on 20 years now. Fast Food, Grocery, Department Stores, you name it. I'm to the point where I am CONVINCED that I must have pissed someone off and they decided to curse me because I'm like a magnet for the "Self Entitled Customers." Karens, Parents, Kids, Brats, the "Do you know who am I?" customers. And every single time I get one. One of three things happen. 1) They either "fire" themselves, with the "I am never coming/shopping here again!" line. Walk right out and THANKFULLY never return. 2) They somewhat and do /somewhat/ have a slightly better attitude the next time they come into my line. Or my absolute favorite. 3) They purposely go and search for one of the newer Cashiers/Employees to bully. Only for the newer employee to keep calling me over when there's an issue. So, this happened to me when I used to work at Burger King. I highly DON'T recommend working there. Unless you actually need a job, it's your first job, or it's a job until you graduate school. Yeah, it was that bad. This one Customer, oh my god! She always came in and always DEMANDED the Senior Coffee. We don't have a senior drink, which she knows since we keep reminding her every time she came in! I tell her don't have a Senior Coffee ma'am. "Don't lie to me! I want the Senior Coffee! I always come here and they always give it to me!" "Ma'am we don't have a Senior Coffee. I can ring you for a small coffee and/or drink and give you the 10% Senior Discount." "That's fine! Do that then!" So, I ring her up and apply the discount and then this happened. "That's out ragouts! You're charging me full price!" "Ma'am, I rang you up for a small and gave you the senior discount. That's what it is. I can't override it." "Don't lie to me! I want the discount like you said!" "I did! You're total is $1.15!" "That's outrageous! I never have to pay so much at McDonald's! They give it to me for a dollar! Maybe I should go there then!" "Go right ahead! McDonald's is open and is right behind us across the street in that Shopping Center." "I'm never coming back here again! I'm going to eat at McDonald's!" "Tell the server I said hi!" A few weeks after this and about some crazy customers later with a similar threat. (Why do the Entitle Customers always say "I'm never coming back here!" like it's an actual threat?) Me and my friend stop by the McDonald's so I can grab something for my husband. One of the Cashiers there recognized my car. "Hey (my name) thanks for the extra business, but next time. Can you please send some of the nicer customers instead of the Entitled Karens?"
A couple years back working as a manager, for a pizza place. Had a customer who would call and say he had a credit for food. Since we were told by higher ups to just assume it was true, this dude got over 40 orders ranging from $30-$60 before the district manager noticed. When he called again I got tell him that he was no longer welcome to order with us and he screamed into the phone. About how ungrateful we were for his business. Lol
I was born with really bad asthma, during high school it ended up getting to the point im legally disabled. I would miss school to the point i had to take a year off of school, after that i went back and got my diploma but surprise surprise when i tried going to school people were shocked saying "i thought you died" or "arent you supposed to be dead?" they had thought i died cause i missed so much school. After that i had to leave school again and do online classes over the phone and through join.me, the Teachers were amazing and sweet to everyone. Helped you out if you needed it, understanding if you were late to the call by a few minutes. Im still dealing with my asthma and find ways to get it under control enough to have a normal live but still find it funny how back then people thought i was dead and never tried to get in contact with me even the kids who had my number didn't try contacting me.
For the barista "finger swirl" one, as a supervisor, I would have zero issues kicking that guy out. That's disgusting, no way to talk to someone, and now you've made my staff uncomfortable at their own workplace. You can leave now, or we'll wait for security to kick you out in a more forceful manner.
My worst customer was actually a family. I work at an Escape Game and they showed up at 9:38 and demanded to play a game that started at 9:00. There were 3 people playing the 9:00 game. They demanded that I reimburse them for their “wasted trip” because they were “important people” whose time was “very important.” When i told them i wasn’t going to give them a discount or a reimbursement, they told me i was a horrible employee and stormed out.
Remember folks the key to a happy life all rests on your ability to not screw with 3 types of people, the people that make your food, the people who patch you up and the people that protect you.
